At Elton John's White Tie and Tiara Ball last Thursday in New York City, Lady Gaga graced the crowd with a brand new, rock-tinged piano ballad titled 'You and I.'"This song is very, very dear to my heart, and I just wrote it," Gaga said in her introduction. "It's a bit of a rock 'n' roll tune, which means it will most likely never get used as one of my singles."
The scantily clad singer gave a beyond-energetic performance, jumping up on the piano bench and pumping her fist, absolutely nailing the tune that "no one's ever heard before ... ever." See the video after the jump!

This young woman has talent. If you don't like her, fine. But the girl can tickle the keys, she has range, and she's got moves. The same cannot be said for other these so-called artists. The more you all hate, the more I love.

GaGa is great. Like her old stuff better. New stuff is not produced the way the old stuff was. She has lost it on the last song Alewhosiwhatsit. She needs to get back on the techno trail and off of the Billy Joel train. Just my opinion. I still love her. She's a good kid with a head on her shoulders. She makes Hollywood Hollywood.

Can't deny that she is talented. But like so many others, she is truly affected by fame. She knows that the act will get old and uneventful. One can't reinvent how to sell sex every year. She is a talented woman who hopefully will just stick to the music and forget the shock value style that she has. The music speaks for itself and her actions and fashion don't mean a thing to most people ...especially me. So quit it Gaga you don't need it.

Agree, it has happened to me, especially when I am disagreeing on the subject, popeater just will not accept the post. GA GA can sing but she looks like gag gag.
The first time I saw Lady Gaga play with Elton John was on a music award show and they were wonderful together. I just love both of them and Lady Gaga is a music star. You keep singing Lady Gaga, you have a lot of young and old fans that love you.

Wow... You people are quite harsh. Lady Gaga is very eccentric and sometimes (okay, always) over-the-top. That's a fact. But it's necessary to be so in the music industry! You need to be noticed! All press is good press, right? Nah, that's not always true. But as long as she's not doing anything illegal or truly horrible, she's fine. As for this song, I loved it. I'm not one of those CRAZY Gaga fans but I do love her music and will easily admit that she's super talented. I don't necessarily "approve" of her clothing (or lackthereof, especially in this video) but you have to look past that. To whoever said this isn't rock n' roll... You're just thinking of the real rock n' roll stereotype. SHE'S not rock n' roll. Obviously not. That's why this won't be a single, as she said. But this song had that feel and that's what she meant. She's doing what she loves to do and a majority of people love listening/watching her do it. Leave her be.
