Vince Neil was stopped early this morning in Las Vegas by police who believed the Motley Crue frontman was driving under the influence, TMZ reports.Neil is in custody at the Clark County Jail with bail set at $2,000.
It's not the first time the musician has been in trouble with the law. In 2002, he was arrested for allegedly assaulting a music producer. He later pleaded no contest to the charges.
A year later, in 2003, Neil again pleaded no contest to charges he attacked a prostitute at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Nevada.
In 2004, an arrest warrant for misdemeanor assault was issued for the singer after he reportedly hit a sound engineer at a show he was playing in Texas.

Wow. They forgot to mention when Vince killed the drummer from Hanoi Rocks in ANOTHER DUI incident back in 1984. Good to know some people never learn.

Yeah, Really. I use to love Motley Crue in the 80's, but I cant beleive that they left out the accident that killed the drummer. That should have been a life lesson to let someone drive him when he is drinking.
He's such a DB!
No kidding!! If killing a friend doesn't sober you up, what will? Vince needs some serious jail time.
Well not til after August and the OzzFest dates hopefully
Good post Lou.
However, let us not blame him alone.
The legal system has helped him get this far by playing
CELEB JUSTICE, so he does not grow up.
Vince has been inching his way to big time... jail time, and unless the legal system wakes up, he could kill again.
the hardest partying band in rock and roll. really dug there book

Why is there no three strikes law on Dui's? especially if you have killed someone, after 3 dui's all licences should be revoked, nationwide. Yeah they could still drive w/out one, but get caught and get a mandatory 30 yrs!

I agree 100%.
When Motley did their reunion tour in 2005, I went to see it. Terrible. I was hoping, it would be like their '80s shows which rocked. Their reunion tour was terrible. At least the night I saw them.
When the KISS originals put the make-up and costumes back on and reunited in '96, it started a trend where a lot of bands have reunited. I saw KISS twice on this last tour, and realized, how much Ace (drunk 1/2 the time) and Peter held them back. They are much better without them. Van Halen reunion was great, too. Motley was not and Vince was the biggest reason the show tanked. Tommy Lee and Nikki were the only reason 3/4 of people stayed for the whole show. I know Mick Mars has some health problems, so maybe bringing him along as a tech guy. They should get another blonde singer, Sebastian Bach maybe and then have Mick pick a guitarist and tour again.

I saw the Crue in 2005 in Moline, Il-they rocked. I saw them in 2006 in Minneapolis and they sucked. They didn't even finish their last song and they just walked off the stage. Good thing they only opened for Aerosmith. Then again I saw the Crue in Feb'09 for the SOLA and they were great, but only sang 3 of their new songs and the rest were old stuff. Ok, but I would have liked to hear some more of the new stuff. Probably won't see them again. Can't rely on them giving a good show.
Also, when Vince left for a bit, they had John Corabi. I liked the sound of his voice with the Crue.
Vince, Vince, Vince.........
