Vince NeilVince Neil was stopped early this morning in Las Vegas by police who believed the Motley Crue frontman was driving under the influence, TMZ reports.

Neil is in custody at the Clark County Jail with bail set at $2,000.

It's not the first time the musician has been in trouble with the law. In 2002, he was arrested for allegedly assaulting a music producer. He later pleaded no contest to the charges.

A year later, in 2003, Neil again pleaded no contest to charges he attacked a prostitute at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Nevada.

In 2004, an arrest warrant for misdemeanor assault was issued for the singer after he reportedly hit a sound engineer at a show he was playing in Texas.
