If we've learned anything about Joran van der Sloot in recent weeks (besides, y'know, his criminal behavior) it's that the dangerous Dutchman is absolutely giddy about the attention he's been getting since his arrest in Peru. You can't go a day without new developments in this sensational story, and now I've learned van der Sloot is itching to cash in big time for the TV cameras. How much? If we've learned anything about Joran van der Sloot in recent weeks (besides, y'know, his criminal behavior) it's that the dangerous Dutchman is absolutely giddy about the attention he's been getting since his arrest in Peru. You can't go a day without new developments in this sensational story, and now I've learned van der Sloot is itching to cash in big time for the TV cameras. How much? The answer, after the jump!Joran van der Sloot TV Tell-All Worth $1 Million
Several TV insiders have told me that Dutch murder suspect Jordan van der Sloot has refused to give any TV interviews unless he gets paid. And the asking price? $1 million.
"It's amazing how this kid's mind works," one senior producer tells me. "He is on trial for murder and he is thinking about how he can make money selling interviews."Van der Sloot is said to be thrilled with the amount of press attention he has received, telling Dutch newspaper De Telegraph, from his maximum-security cell in Miguel Castro prison, that he has even been receiving offers of marriage from female fans. Did the media attention he got from that print interview help him come up with that whopping $1 million price tag?
"It's a horrid thing to admit, but he could be right," one TV exec tells me. "An interview with him from behind bars would certainly get huge ratings. And when you think how much money the cast of 'Friends' got per half-hour episode, $1 million for van der Sloot could be considered a bargain."
The 22-year-old (possible serial killer?) is jailed while he awaits trial on charges of first-degree murder and robbery in the May 30 death of Stephany Flores in Peru. In addition, van der Sloot remains a person of interest in the 2005 disappearance of American student Natalee Holloway in Aruba.
I will not be watching any interview. Will you?
Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna Coming to Reality TV
The fantastic Lisa Rinna and that hunky husband of hers, Harry Hamlin, are getting ready to expose their lives to the cameras in the brand new, unscripted 'Harry Loves Lisa,' premiering on TV Land October 6.
Sources tell me a gaggle of cable nets were after the show, which follows the lives of the husband-and-wife duo along with their two darling daughters, Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray. In the end, it was the ever-reliable TV Land, the same channel that recently tempted Betty White and Valerie Bertinelli back to TV, that won over Harry and Lisa. You'll remember, the duo played a married couple a while back on 'Veronica Mars,' so they have some experience!
"You think you know who Harry and I are separately and as a couple?" Lisa asked me. "Well, this show will blow that out of the water. It is fun, crazy, inspiring, vulnerable and very real. We peel back the layers of the onion and really show you our life and how we stay together in the land of Hollywood."
Angelina and Brad, I hope you two tune in with the rest of us on October 6.

I am only on here to write my two cents:
HELL NO!!! DO NOT PAY THIS MAN A PENNY!!!!! Its called extortion!!!!!
let him be paid but with the stipulation the money goes to the two families he hurt - he shouldn't gleen a penny of it
Reply
Any money made from his crimes should all go to the victims families.
Isn't this exactly what he is seeking? He loves being in the spot light. Every interview that he has given,he later claims that he lied during the interview. Why would anyone pay that amount of money to hear somebody tell lies?
Reply
it's not pPV so you'll all watch.
Reply
I'D PAY, To watch him HANG...
Reply
I would pull the lever or pull the switch or pull the trigger.
Dj.. then you would be NO different then him! Why should he get to have a death sentance...let him live in prison for the rest of his life having to look over his shoulder every second of everyday!
Are you nuts? A million dollars to a murderer? What is wrong with this world. I will not watch the interview and certainly not buy the magazine EVER ! Shame on you! This animal is getting more attention than he deserves, he is a liar, a manipulator, an opportunist and a KILLER, let him rot in jail.
Reply
Who would want to watch an interview with him anyway, all he has ever done is lie and lie, it's just like listening to nothing!
Reply
If they want to interview him for millions thats kewl " as long as they make that check out to his victims familys; I believe he owes the Holloways money.
Reply
Lisa he doesnt owe money to the Flores family as well?
So, he wants attention eh? How about if we let Natalie's father into his cell with a baseball bat for an hour !!
Reply
I would pay to see that!
yea, Dave has constraint I wonder why Joran was not met in a dark alley years ago with a nice baseball bat, maybe if he had that poor girl in Peru would not be dead!

I don't understand why the girls always flock to a guy like this. He probably couldn't have gotten away with murder if these girls wouldn't have been so sucked in by him. What is the attraction? I bet they will be lining up to marry him when he is in prison.

No way should inmates make money off of their crimes.
I think they should beat his side of the story out of him. It will all be nothing more than lies.
Reply
just turn him loose in the general prison population
Reply
I agree with you..that would be the worst punishment.
I agree I hope general population for in Peru is much diff than In the US. He wont last a year after what he did to one of their
Peruvian women.....
