Jill Zarin Is Not Leaving 'Housewives of New York'

Rest assured 'Housewives' fans, Jill Zarin is not quitting Bravo's 'Real Housewives of New York City' -- despite reports claiming otherwise. On Tuesday evening, Cooper Lawrence, host of the nationally syndicated 'Cooper Lawrence Radio Show,' asked Zarin on air if she was leaving the reality TV show, but apparently her quote was taken out of context. While she admits "there are compelling reasons to come back and not to come back," she isn't on her way out just yet. However, sources tell me that Bravo hasn't yet invited any of the regular cast members back.

Zarin admits last season was difficult on her because the producers focused solely on the drama around her friendship with castmate Bethenny Frankel. Zarin claims over 90 percent of the footage she taped was quite fun, but it all landed on the cutting room floor. None of the 'Housewives' have any control over how the show is edited.

"They research and hold focus groups before deciding who not to ask back. They are looking for characters that push people's buttons. Hate is more powerful than love on TV. It's the cast members that the focus groups don't care about that are likely to get the ax," a source close to the show tells PopEater.

If that's the case, Zarin will likely be invited back for another season because she is definitely not boring. Let's hope she says yes.

none of them make me proud ,get over this crap, we are doing the same things only we are not from hollywood. they all seem very nice but we all make mistakes and try to do good things if we are decent people. those days are over get a life there are no idols in this world, just make sure the people you no think you are a good person

ive Kelly and Jill their own show where they both have shrinks! I would love to see them on a shrinks couch trying to explain themselves after the world saw how they acted. Oh my god I would even pay to see Kelly try to explain that break down on the trip last season. They would have her in a padded room by week two!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Alex & Simon. They're my favorite & Ramona too. Jill is THE WORST. She's so arrogant & obnoxious. There is something seriously wrong with Kelly. She needs serious help & soon. She doesn't even make sense. It's strange. She says the same phrases over & over & think she's the best. It's very strange.

I will not watch if Alex remains on the show...Please get rid of her...she was fake and pretentious the first season...then when that didn't sell...she toned down the social climbing the second season...and when that still didn't work-she tried to make up a huge issue and jump on Bethenny's bandwagon

Please get rid of Alex! Love Jill, Kelly, and LuAnn. Good riddance to the skank known as Bethenny. Let's see how well her show's viewership does without having some type of RHONY show,reunion, or lost footage precedig it.

What is wrong with you? If you think Jill and Kelly are the best, I don't know what kind of person you are. Do you really think the way they talk to and treat people is okay? And why would you call Bethanny a skank? Because she is a strong woman who tried to have a successful career and find a truly fulfilling relationship. I think there is truly something wrong with you, if you believe that Jill and Kelly behaved correctly this season.

Jill is evil, and Kelly is pathetically stupid and insane. I can handle Kelly because she is only making a fool of herself, but Jill has such negative aura, her attitude is vicious, and I feel like I'm witnessing such a nasty scene, I just want to run away. I can't enjoy the show with Jill in it. I don't want to be brought down but entertained, so I am only watching Bethenny's show because I love her.

What did Bethenny do? She tried to make up with Jill and got shot down. Jill falling on her face was the highlight of the season for me. She thought she was so great and wanted to show off, Splat!!funny as hell. But sadly I have to stop watching because my daughters think that when they are in school or I go out with my friends thats how we act. Can't we get some housewives who are smart and aren't fools.

I see Jill's pr team are at work in their efforts to make Bravo think Alex should go. You might think about letting a couple people post between your accounts so as not to look so suspicious. If Alex goes I and alot of other viewers will follow her.

Who cares if you watch or not. You already have your preconceived perceptions of Jill and all the rest anyway. So, as Ramona would say "who cares".
No, keep Jill, LuAnne, Sonja, Ramona and Alex. I would love to see Jill show the world exactly what Alex is really like. Not the actress, but the real Alex. She didn't fool me this season...nor did Andy Cohen when he played (edited scripts to promote her new show) up how "nice" Bethenny is. It was all scripted for this purpose and I would like to see the real Alex this season, not the contrived actress. That way they will sh--can her the next season (boring).
The show will be GREAT with this crew - as long as Andy doesn't edit it to suit his own agenda.

I agree w/ the ladies who said to say good bye to Kelly. She is wacko and BORING. There is no one interesting in her life to spice up her story line and she is not strong enough to stand alone because she is so dull. I'd rather see more of the original cast & their families than have Bravo keep trying to add new characters. The newer characters are not that interesting on the NY Housewives.

And Danielle - she is just too out there, too weird. How did she get such nice kids - she must have done something right but her friends are creepy & she is so wrappd up in herself. She thinks everyone else has her in mind when they do ANYTHING. Ditch Danielle and bring back Dina & Grandma Wrinkles!
