Hark! Kate Gosselin Wants to Release Holiday Album

Hold on to your chestnuts folks, Kate Gosselin is looking to add "holiday crooner" to her resume! I've learned that the multi-talented reality star is itching to deliver a Christmas album chocked full of religious-y tunes. Let's go ahead and rule out Jon as her backup singer, but you better believe a certain octet will be front and center. More on Kate's holly-jolly career move, plus a look at a tennis ace's hair-raising dilemma after the jump!

Kate Plus Eight Plus Holiday Album?

Kate Gosselin wants to show America that it's not just her dance skills that are a hidden talent. Now, the famous mom and her eight adorable tots want to release a holiday CD packed full of all her favorite religious classics.

"Kate is pitching a CD of holiday songs sung by herself and all her children," a record executive tells me. "She sees herself as a modern day Maria from 'The Sound of Music,' except this time the family singers won't be the Von Trap family, they would be the Gosselins."

And it's not like Kate is the first reality star to release a record. Three of the ladies from Bravo's 'Real Housewives' franchise have put out singles (my ears!) and who can forget that Jessica Simpson, at the height of her reality show career, put out a Christmas CD where she sang 'The Little Drummer Boy' as a duet with lil' sis Ashlee. I swear to you this actually exists.

"Don't be fooled," a friend of Kate's tells me. "Kate sees herself as a brand. She knows her fifteen minutes are not going to last forever and wants to make the most of it. After all, it's Kate that's putting the food on the table for all those children."

I don't know how Kate finds the time to be a reality star, author, dancer, mother of eight and now singer, but let's all hope that her singing is a touch better than her dancing. Kate will have a little time to practice, as sources tell me that no major label has offered her a deal just yet. But just you wait until they hear those adorable little eight voices singing 'I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus'! How could anyone say no?

Vogue Chief Thinks Roger Federer Looks Sloppy

As tennis fans struggle to understand Roger Federer's implosion at Wimbledon this week, feared Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour thinks she has the answer to fix his poor performance.

"Anna think Roger needs to cut his hair," one fashion insider tells me. "The reason his playing is sloppy is because he looks so sloppy. It doesn't take a genius to understand the impact that your physical appearance has on your performance. Weather you are a model or a tennis player, there is no excuse for not always looking your best."

Anna, who was seen watching Roger from the stands while feverishly working her Blackberry, has even found the perfect barber in London to help her tennis friend out. However, it looks like all advice is a little too late.

Federer was knocked out of the Wimbledon quarterfinals Wednesday by Thomas Berdych of the Czech Republic, 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. This will be the first time since 2002 that Federer has not reached the Wimbledon final.

Oh well, at least the poor chap doesn't have to worry about a haircut for the next 12 months.

Hey Darrell, I agree with you, this has to be a joke! Kate Gosselin is not hardly a multi-talented woman of any kind! Where is her talent, or rather what is her talent? I know, it's having babies, multiples! That is where her talent ends. She isn't even that great of a mother. She is so busy running around the country promoting herself, she doesn't have time to be the full time mother she needs to be to her eight kids. Get a grip Kate, you have NO TALENT! You can't sing and you sure as hell can't dance. Go be a good mother and call it a day!

She keeps acting like her kids will starve if she doesn't keep hustling herself and her non-existent talent, shoving herself down America's throat, and once again, she's a conniving liar! They made many multi-millions of dollars doing Jon & Kate + 8, so she, Jon, and all their kids are already set for life, even if no-one ever works another day in their lives again from here on out...

I partly blame TLC for making her feel she's more important than she is, or even important at all, in the first place... Kind of like what MTV has done with Laguna Beach and The Hills -- they're not "stars" either, they're just people who got picked to follow a hokey script and act like it's real, and since they're not acting pros, they call it 'reality tv'...

STOP THE INSANITY, PLEASE!!! Boycott TLC and anything this creature is on...

Wonderful. She's made a fortune out of pimping out her kids for that stupid tv show that God only knows why people watch and now she's trying to make them into a singing group. So far as mothers go, this woman has zero moral fiber. I just hope when all is said and done these kids get the money THEY have earned. Kate Grossmeout has ZERO talent other than pimping kids.
