Hark! Kate Gosselin Wants to Release Holiday Album

Hold on to your chestnuts folks, Kate Gosselin is looking to add "holiday crooner" to her resume! I've learned that the multi-talented reality star is itching to deliver a Christmas album chocked full of religious-y tunes. Let's go ahead and rule out Jon as her backup singer, but you better believe a certain octet will be front and center. More on Kate's holly-jolly career move, plus a look at a tennis ace's hair-raising dilemma after the jump!

Kate Plus Eight Plus Holiday Album?

Kate Gosselin wants to show America that it's not just her dance skills that are a hidden talent. Now, the famous mom and her eight adorable tots want to release a holiday CD packed full of all her favorite religious classics.

"Kate is pitching a CD of holiday songs sung by herself and all her children," a record executive tells me. "She sees herself as a modern day Maria from 'The Sound of Music,' except this time the family singers won't be the Von Trap family, they would be the Gosselins."

And it's not like Kate is the first reality star to release a record. Three of the ladies from Bravo's 'Real Housewives' franchise have put out singles (my ears!) and who can forget that Jessica Simpson, at the height of her reality show career, put out a Christmas CD where she sang 'The Little Drummer Boy' as a duet with lil' sis Ashlee. I swear to you this actually exists.

"Don't be fooled," a friend of Kate's tells me. "Kate sees herself as a brand. She knows her fifteen minutes are not going to last forever and wants to make the most of it. After all, it's Kate that's putting the food on the table for all those children."

I don't know how Kate finds the time to be a reality star, author, dancer, mother of eight and now singer, but let's all hope that her singing is a touch better than her dancing. Kate will have a little time to practice, as sources tell me that no major label has offered her a deal just yet. But just you wait until they hear those adorable little eight voices singing 'I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus'! How could anyone say no?

Vogue Chief Thinks Roger Federer Looks Sloppy

As tennis fans struggle to understand Roger Federer's implosion at Wimbledon this week, feared Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour thinks she has the answer to fix his poor performance.

"Anna think Roger needs to cut his hair," one fashion insider tells me. "The reason his playing is sloppy is because he looks so sloppy. It doesn't take a genius to understand the impact that your physical appearance has on your performance. Weather you are a model or a tennis player, there is no excuse for not always looking your best."

Anna, who was seen watching Roger from the stands while feverishly working her Blackberry, has even found the perfect barber in London to help her tennis friend out. However, it looks like all advice is a little too late.

Federer was knocked out of the Wimbledon quarterfinals Wednesday by Thomas Berdych of the Czech Republic, 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. This will be the first time since 2002 that Federer has not reached the Wimbledon final.

Oh well, at least the poor chap doesn't have to worry about a haircut for the next 12 months.

Even if this is a joke the plausibility of it being true, given Kate's determined marketing of her children, is strong. Picture 8 children spending day after day in a recording studio while Kate belittles and demeans them and blames her singing off key on them. But of course Kate will say, "The children loved doing it!"

Kate has a duty to support her kids anyway she can. That being said, I personally will not support her in anyway, (ie. buy albums, watch shows, etc.). She was a vile person on the show with John and I do not believe she has changed. I also believe she loves the limelight a bit to much while saying she doesn't. Just own it..I would have a little respect for the truth. John has made his share of stupid mistakes and I won't support him either.

If she would have been happy with her twins alone I would understood, but she is the one who wanted more kids, so let her work, like other mothers too. Why should people pay for her to raise her kids. She is trailer trash and even biggest home will not help her, she will always be trash. She is like bad food,when you have to burp over and over again. Go away Kate, your 15 minutes have been gone and we are not interested in a person like you.
