Hark! Kate Gosselin Wants to Release Holiday Album

Hold on to your chestnuts folks, Kate Gosselin is looking to add "holiday crooner" to her resume! I've learned that the multi-talented reality star is itching to deliver a Christmas album chocked full of religious-y tunes. Let's go ahead and rule out Jon as her backup singer, but you better believe a certain octet will be front and center. More on Kate's holly-jolly career move, plus a look at a tennis ace's hair-raising dilemma after the jump!

Kate Plus Eight Plus Holiday Album?

Kate Gosselin wants to show America that it's not just her dance skills that are a hidden talent. Now, the famous mom and her eight adorable tots want to release a holiday CD packed full of all her favorite religious classics.

"Kate is pitching a CD of holiday songs sung by herself and all her children," a record executive tells me. "She sees herself as a modern day Maria from 'The Sound of Music,' except this time the family singers won't be the Von Trap family, they would be the Gosselins."

And it's not like Kate is the first reality star to release a record. Three of the ladies from Bravo's 'Real Housewives' franchise have put out singles (my ears!) and who can forget that Jessica Simpson, at the height of her reality show career, put out a Christmas CD where she sang 'The Little Drummer Boy' as a duet with lil' sis Ashlee. I swear to you this actually exists.

"Don't be fooled," a friend of Kate's tells me. "Kate sees herself as a brand. She knows her fifteen minutes are not going to last forever and wants to make the most of it. After all, it's Kate that's putting the food on the table for all those children."

I don't know how Kate finds the time to be a reality star, author, dancer, mother of eight and now singer, but let's all hope that her singing is a touch better than her dancing. Kate will have a little time to practice, as sources tell me that no major label has offered her a deal just yet. But just you wait until they hear those adorable little eight voices singing 'I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus'! How could anyone say no?

Vogue Chief Thinks Roger Federer Looks Sloppy

As tennis fans struggle to understand Roger Federer's implosion at Wimbledon this week, feared Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour thinks she has the answer to fix his poor performance.

"Anna think Roger needs to cut his hair," one fashion insider tells me. "The reason his playing is sloppy is because he looks so sloppy. It doesn't take a genius to understand the impact that your physical appearance has on your performance. Weather you are a model or a tennis player, there is no excuse for not always looking your best."

Anna, who was seen watching Roger from the stands while feverishly working her Blackberry, has even found the perfect barber in London to help her tennis friend out. However, it looks like all advice is a little too late.

Federer was knocked out of the Wimbledon quarterfinals Wednesday by Thomas Berdych of the Czech Republic, 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. This will be the first time since 2002 that Federer has not reached the Wimbledon final.

Oh well, at least the poor chap doesn't have to worry about a haircut for the next 12 months.

Is this woman crazy in the head? She doesn't even deserve the attention she is getting now. Only because someone thought HEY!! I can make some money off of her and her family. Then the put her in the news all the time like she is a big star. Give me a break. Anything to make money with all these reality shows on tv. Some are pretty stupid and it is plan to see that most are scripted.Bring back the good shows. No more reality shows please they are not actors.

It is so hard to read all these horrible statements about Kate whom I think has had her share of bad press. She has made mistakes and has said she's sorry. Who on this earth has not made mistakes in thier life?? Are you all perfect??? Cast the stone out of your own eye before you start on someone else !!

WHAT DRUGS ARE THESE PEOPLE ON? BOTH GOSSELIN AND SCHUTER. The only talent she has shown is how to belittle her husband and scream at her kids and try to control everyone around her. Religious songs, hmmm, she needs to find the definition of religion first and practice it. She just won't go away, wonder what her new excuse is of "needing money", it sure isn't the kids.

"Multi talented"????? Yoiu must be kidding. What is she talented at other than pimping her kids and being a witch? Why is the media so enamored with this shrew? Kate has no end to her embaressment. One day when the kids are old enough to understand and watch reruns, they will see the way their mother treated everyone. She hates the paparazzi but yet lives for them. They are the reason she is still in the limelight, lord knows its not her talent.

I hadn't watched their new show when it started. Just happened to have TLC on and there they were. After about five minutes of it I HAD to change to another channel!! Kids screaming, fighting, and the one older one...Maddie?? She is still being a little brat, but worse. Who is really sitting thru this show to keep her on the air???
