Maroon 5Before embarking on tour, Maroon 5 appeared on the 'Today' show to perform as part of the summer concert series. The band started off their set in New York's Rockefeller Plaza with the hit 'This Love.'

Frontman Adam Levine chatted with host Matt Lauer about the band's upcoming album, 'Hands All Over,' due out on Sept. 21. "I'm sending my babies out to college," he said of releasing the new tunes, adding, "This is an amazing thing, fans coming out this early to see us. It's incredible."

Maroon 5 then played the first single off of that album, 'Misery,' followed by 2004's 'Sunday Morning.' Check out a video of the group rocking out to 'Misery' below.
