'Office' Actress Jenna Fischer Ties The Knot

'The Office' star Jenna Fischer married screenwriter Lee Kirk this weekend on July in a private ceremony, Us Weekly reports. The couple had got engaged last summer while on holiday in Europe.

They have been dating since January 2008. The actress, 35, was previously married to director James Gunn for nearly seven years before they divorced in July 2007. This is the first marriage for Lee.

Fischer's 'Office' co-star Rainn Wilson as among guests in attendance. After the wedding, he headed to Twitter to share his congrats for the newlyweds. "Went to the most beautiful wedding I've ever experienced," Wilson tweeted. "Total Love, Jenna Fischer & Lee Kirk!"

Although the couple have been dating since January of 2008, they stepped out publicly for the first time at the Emmy Awards in September 2008, when Fischer described Kirk as "my super-cute boyfriend."

Fischer is most known for the role of Pam Halpert in the NBC hit 'The Office,' based on the original BBC series.

News of the marriage comes just days after fellow 'Office' star Angela Kinsey announced that she is divorcing her husband Warren Lieberstein.
