Vienna: Lack of Intimacy Ended Relationship With 'Bachelor' Jake Pavelka

For weeks, the nasty breakup of 'The Bachelor' couple Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi has been fought in the tabloids. For their latest round of sparring, the pair were back in front of the reality TV cameras where it all began. 'The Bachelor' host Chris Harrison moderated the pool-side debate between the couple, who called off their engagement last month. The 32-year-old pilot from Dallas and the 23-year-old Geneva, Fla., resident quarreled over such issues as where they should place furniture in their home and why she gave an interview to a tabloid about their split. Amid the fireworks, Vienna accused Jake of emotional abuse, while he said "she breaks me down ... she's mean."

The two met on a reality TV show, where Jake chose his favorite girl Vienna from a pack of willing women. While the couple admit they were happy at first, things quickly went downhill. "The first month together was great. He was crazy about me. From there it went straight downhill. It felt like a relationship when cameras were rolling or we were out on a red carpet, but when we were at home [it was] lonely," Girardi explained.

He fired back, "To me there is more in a relationship than sex." When she interrupted him again, he added, "She's asking me why there's not intimacy in a relationship and this is it right here."

But she says while the couple tried to act happy for the cameras, they weren't intimate at home. "At home, it wasn't like we were in a relationship. I just wanted him to be around me and talk to me and hold me and kiss me, like a normal relationship," she explained.

Then came the tabloid interviews from both sides. Girardi lashed out first by appearing on the cover of Star magazine alongside the headline "Jake's a MONSTER!" Pavelka then struck back on the front of PEOPLE magazine above the headline "I DON'T TRUST HER." Girardi later dodged infidelity allegations on Twitter, while Pavelka unloaded about his relationship regrets in an interview with 'Extra' host Mario Lopez.

"Either way, our relationship had been public. The world was going to want to know what happened ... I hadn't had a voice this entire time," she said. "You are a fame whore is what you are."

"I'm so mad at you. I'm disgusted with you," Pavelka fired back.

But who actually initiated the breakup remains unknown. "I called you and broke up with you over the phone," Girardi said. Disgusted at his ex, Pavelka said, "She's like a tabloid. You get 40 percent of the truth." He later added, "She breaks me down, she undermines me, she's mean ... This is it, right here."

Throughout the interview, Pavelka continually got annoyed at his ex for "interrupting" him. He kept trying to silence her and finished by yelling at his ex. At this point, Vienna couldn't take it anymore and began crying. She finally jumped off the couch, saying to Jake, "You are the meanest person I've ever met in my life. ... I'm over it."

Why do they not have real people not just fruity girls and sometimes evan more Lame guys. Get some real people not just the tinsel town air heads.All of these reality shows are lame,that is not the real world and it fills kids up with false images of life.The people that watch them are as useless as the people on the shows.They all have cushy jobs, probably gotten for them by their parents and if they did not exist the world would not be effected in any way, shape or form.

I can't you people buy into this. lol. It's Show Business. Both are making money by doing this 'interview' together. They are supposed to promote this thing through the tabloids. It's all about money.
These shows crack me up. A person meets all these women(men)spends maybe a few hours with them....then asks one of them to marry them. lol.
Their interview was scripted right down to her crying....and they're both laughing all the way to the bank. Way too funny.

They are both FUBB. Neither would make a pimple on a dog.

Shame on Jake digging into her like that. A real man does not "kiss and tell". Jake acted like a big baby during the interview and was definitely abusive with his "stop interrupting me" stuff. He is 32 years old.....Vienna only 23. He is very insecure and looking for someone to tell him how great and right he is all the time (a real door mat). What a loser!

She is way too young and immature. She was mean and nasty on the show, why wouldn't she be that way away from cameras? If she can't be nice on tv, how can she go home and be nice? And these accusations about Jake are ridiculous. As a man who was married to a very beautiful woman that I loved incredibly, I didn't want sex with her because she was verbally abusive and demeaning. No amount of beauty could make up for the way she treated me. To have sex with someone like that is to lie ot yourself and them. So what if they didn't have sex. Be honest and ask yourself... Do you want to be intimate with a someone who treats you like she clearly treated him? Man or woman, nobody wants sex with someone who is not in control of their emotions or is belittling to you. And she cried? is that his fault? That's what children do

Jake is a bit arrogant. He certainly seems to be seeking fame or some movie deal.

Both have issues. When people quibble over where to put the furniture, there are deeper issues. But I felt Vienna was more genuine last night, than Jake. I do think he is strange and thought so before. Maybe his height makes him insecure about his manliness and that is why he is constantly talking about being undermined. No one can undermine you without your permission if you know what I mean. Someone can say I'm mean but unless I believe it, it does not undermine me, but them.

After last nights showing, I think Vienna is the want that is wanting a TV/Movie job. She sure put on the waterfall enough, so fake. (reminded me of the Smith women who put her childern in the drink, how she bawled and bawled so hard Fakeand was guilty) Well Vienna I think is the reason for the breakup. She isn't good looking with those cross-eyes, her attitude stinks as it did on the show and her family is another thing. Why do men and women allow themselves to go on a show to find a mate? You never know what is going to happen when the show is over. This is not a way to find a mate. Never been a fan of the show, Jake and Vienna need to go back to their hometowns, forget they ever met, and move on with their lives. Their getting more exposure than they deserve.

At first I was one of those people that did not like Vienna, I thought she was a spoiled brat & just wanted her 15 mins. of T.V. fame but after everything I have read & seen I think it is Jake that is the media hog. I mean just look at everything he has been on or done since DWTS. I have never been a Vienna fan but after last night I think Jake is the problem not Vienna. She wants out of the spot light & Jake wants to stay in it. Any way that is just my oppinion. Maybe 1 or 2 follow up with marriage.
Why can't it just be "Find Your Perfect Date" instead of a ridiculous proposal at the finale.

I believe Vienna, Jake knew what buttons to push to emotionally hurt her.

Could it be fake? Possibly. But I believe Vienna. Although she acted like a drama queen her tears and emotions appeared to be very real. Jake is a phoney. She called him out. And I believe he is gay.

OMG ! That is exactly what I said! I think that he is gay too! He got the offer to go on the show, and figured that he could get into the public eye and be a star. I was actually getting sick watching his expressions and with the way he tried to slience her. I was never a big Vienna fan but I must say, Tenley won by him not picking her!
