Vienna: Lack of Intimacy Ended Relationship With 'Bachelor' Jake Pavelka

For weeks, the nasty breakup of 'The Bachelor' couple Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi has been fought in the tabloids. For their latest round of sparring, the pair were back in front of the reality TV cameras where it all began. 'The Bachelor' host Chris Harrison moderated the pool-side debate between the couple, who called off their engagement last month. The 32-year-old pilot from Dallas and the 23-year-old Geneva, Fla., resident quarreled over such issues as where they should place furniture in their home and why she gave an interview to a tabloid about their split. Amid the fireworks, Vienna accused Jake of emotional abuse, while he said "she breaks me down ... she's mean."

The two met on a reality TV show, where Jake chose his favorite girl Vienna from a pack of willing women. While the couple admit they were happy at first, things quickly went downhill. "The first month together was great. He was crazy about me. From there it went straight downhill. It felt like a relationship when cameras were rolling or we were out on a red carpet, but when we were at home [it was] lonely," Girardi explained.

He fired back, "To me there is more in a relationship than sex." When she interrupted him again, he added, "She's asking me why there's not intimacy in a relationship and this is it right here."

But she says while the couple tried to act happy for the cameras, they weren't intimate at home. "At home, it wasn't like we were in a relationship. I just wanted him to be around me and talk to me and hold me and kiss me, like a normal relationship," she explained.

Then came the tabloid interviews from both sides. Girardi lashed out first by appearing on the cover of Star magazine alongside the headline "Jake's a MONSTER!" Pavelka then struck back on the front of PEOPLE magazine above the headline "I DON'T TRUST HER." Girardi later dodged infidelity allegations on Twitter, while Pavelka unloaded about his relationship regrets in an interview with 'Extra' host Mario Lopez.

"Either way, our relationship had been public. The world was going to want to know what happened ... I hadn't had a voice this entire time," she said. "You are a fame whore is what you are."

"I'm so mad at you. I'm disgusted with you," Pavelka fired back.

But who actually initiated the breakup remains unknown. "I called you and broke up with you over the phone," Girardi said. Disgusted at his ex, Pavelka said, "She's like a tabloid. You get 40 percent of the truth." He later added, "She breaks me down, she undermines me, she's mean ... This is it, right here."

Throughout the interview, Pavelka continually got annoyed at his ex for "interrupting" him. He kept trying to silence her and finished by yelling at his ex. At this point, Vienna couldn't take it anymore and began crying. She finally jumped off the couch, saying to Jake, "You are the meanest person I've ever met in my life. ... I'm over it."

I believe her, but it's true — she NEVER let him talk without interrupting. NOT ONCE! He sat and let her go on 90 percent of the time. Still, I think she is telling mostly the truth.

Didn't like her during the Bachelor but liked her last night for standing up for herself. WHAT A JERK! She was clearly frustrated with him and his lying and was trying to tell her story and was upset because he kept lying. Men like him are scary because they are so cool and collected while lying. He can turn mean and angry at a moment's notice. He was a jerk on Dancing With the Stars. This guy really is a scary guy. Vienna, be glad he is out of your life. GO AWAY JAKE!

I beleive Jake is a bit fake, his smile etc. But I also beleive Vienna is to demanding and needs to grow up. Had a relation in my family that he could not find a way out and killed himself.

i've never done one of these and really don't know either of them or followed but!

this woman kept interrupting him. he never finished a sentence. i love my husband and respect has always been key for us. i didn't see any in this clip. i guess i missed something but i did see him let her finish a full sentence again he never did that! while i don't agree with bully behavior something about this lady seems to remind me of a girl i knew, she knew just how to push her husbands (very nice guy) buttons and bring out this person he really wasn't! i again don't follow either of them.....when they find the right person they'll both be respectful of that person. just not right for each other.

He is gay to the 10th power. The only thing "wrong" with that is putting himself out there as heterosexual and using Vienna as a beard. I'm sure there's a show for him on the LOGO channel.

Immaturity on both sides here but moreso with Vienna. Happiness is something you find within yourself - you don't wait for someone to cover you with the happiness blanket. He was too old for her anyway and pretty straight laced, well established in a career and both feet on the ground so to speak - he'll find someone that appreciates him.

I think Jake is psycho, let fame go to his head or something. His family must be so proud.

But on the other hand, I think if she was getting the movie roles and offers to be on DWTS, she'd be just as much of a fame hoe as he is. But no one wants her because she looks like a crossed eyed horse.

You know I thought he was probably the correct party in this until I watched this. Look at his body language and his eyes when he says to not interupt him. He seems like he could be abusive. Vienna I think you should count yourself lucky. Something is not right there.

It is truly obvious that Jake is overbearing and a control freak. On the other hand Vienna is a manipulative, whiny, spoiled daddy's girl. She wanted to be a princess and found out that she is not outside of her own home. Daddy isn't always going to be there for here.
