Dina Lohan watched in disbelief as her daughter Lindsay was sentenced Tuesday to 90 days in jail for violating terms of probation over a three-year-old drug case."This is so not fair to do this to my child," a flabbergasted Dina Lohan told PopEater exclusively shortly after Judge Marsha Revel made the announcement.
The 'Mean Girls' actress must begin serving her sentence on July 20, however she likely won't serve the entire 90 days. Many female inmates in Lohan's situation only serve about 25% of their sentence, meaning that the star will only spend about 23 days behind bars. Immediately after leaving jail, Lohan will spend another 90 days at an in-patient rehab facility.

I love it. Didn't get as much as she deserved. She's thumbed her nose at the court long enough. Maybe this will wake her up....not to mention her stupid mother.

I'm surprised and a little irritated that it took this long. I'm so glad the judge is putting her in jail. Even if she does just serve 20+ days...it's about time. And her mother? Yeah - where has she been all of this time? Way to support your kiddo, Dina! I am so glad you are not my parent....

Dina Lohan is shocked? Wake the F'up you moron! Maybe you should learn how to be a parent and not trying to be "one of the gang" yourself. Lindsay isn't above the law and it may be the best thing for her. Sometime we all need a "REALITY" check to get back on the right path.

Her mother is a piece of garbage just like her. How is it unfair when your alcoholic daughter refuses treatment, disregards the law, continues to drink and snort coke and then gets only 90 days? She pissed off the same judge more than once and she's lucky she didn't get more. So, Dina Lohan go f**k yourself.....

Enough is enough, Does her mother want Lindsey to show up dead somewhere? I can just hear her say that the judges didn't do anything to stop her baby. Guess what mom step up to the plate. Accept you daughter has a very serious problem before she kills an innocent person. Stop covering I know she is a money maker, but give it up already. Lindsey has played the system one to many time. If it was some other non famous person they would have been in jail on the first violation without batty an eye. Sorry,but I don't feel sorry for her. She has been given one to many chances and to many excuses and she still doesn't get it. So pay the price now and grow up Lindsey..

What shocks me is her mother's reaction! It's not like Lindsay's addictions have recently started. The girl needs serious help. I wonder who her mother will blame when she's 6 feet under.

Dina is absolutely right. It isn't fair: it isn't fair that Lindsay didn't get a longer sentence. It isn't fair that Lindsay didn't go to jail sooner (which might have helped her figure her life out). It isn't fair that Lindsay has clueless parents that didn't teach her morality or coping skills. It isn't fair to Lindsay that her own mother only values her as a paycheck. It isn't fair to Lindsay that her parents taught her that consequences are for the "little" people. Lots of stuff that isn't fair here...

I think this judge is wasting our tax dollars and is into the fame. Stop wasting our tax dollars. Maybe Lindsy can use the rehab, but skip the jail. And judge (if you wanna call yourself that), stop flirting with the press, like TMZ, joking they have the stories before you even have them. This should even be closed off from the press (it's like a zoo) but apparently you love the press ....and stop having her in front of you every two freakin days (it's costing me tax dollars............dah judge)

Why is Dina Lohan shocked by Lindsey's jail time. She helped put her there by using her as a cash cow like the whole family does. They do not care about her, just her cash. Feel kinda sorry for Lindsey with fool's like these two for parent's. Maybe Ali should be taken out of the hell hole.

She deserves to serve the full 90. She has repeatedly defied the law and made a mockery of it and feels that the laws are for others not her. Her mother to make such a statement that it is unfair is a total part of the problem.

Dina Lohan should not even get press anymore. That woman is the most pathetic excuse for a parent this last decade. What kind of mother watches her child do these things and still insists shes ok? The kind of mother who is just interested in herself and the money and "fame" her child affords her. Not fair, my a**!! They have been NOTHING but fair to Lindsay and she has constantly snubbed the rules. I am not sure if jail will do anything for her but that judge was doing her job and its about time someone she Lindsay she cant just do as she pleases. She will probably get in jail and pull a Hilton, stop eating and whining about being sick. Suck it up and take your medicine. Your a grown woman. The "poor me" act fools no one. Maybe after this she MIGHT learn a thing or two and get her life back in order (and cut off her mom in the process).

why is it when these spoil rich kid misbehave badly the public think the punishment is too hard on them, as for the mother of lindsay the bible says TRAIN UP A CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO AND WHEN HE IS OLD HE MAY NEVER DEPART FROM IT, i have upset stomach at the behaviour of the so called rich kids, 90 days is not enough for her she should be given more, to teach the others a lesson, the next time the judge must give her 5 years.all these rich kids are is a nusance to society with there behaviour.

I fell badly for Lindsey, but she got what she deserved. Her mother, the enabler, should wake up and stop pretending Lindsey is okay. And, why is Ali still in CA with Linds? She messed up Lindsey's life, now she's working on Ali. Poor thing. Dad may be a D bag, but at least he knows there's a big problem and knows where Lindsey's road is leading. Get her off those pain pills before they kill her.

maybe her daughter shouldnt have done the things in the first place... then id agree with her. but her daughter got caught and should have been in jail and rehab back in 07.

I am big fan of Lindsay and I truly feel sorry for her. I think a lot of her problems has to do with her family and home life. I look at her and my heart goes out to her. She is obviously crying out for help! I think she should use this small time in jail to really do some serious soul searching and plan to surround herself with right, good and positive people. Maybe it's time for her to re-create herself and do herself a favor and drop those bad influences in her life; friends, family, men, etc...

If Lindsay Lohan takes this time to reflect on what is happening to her and goes to the Rehab and participates in the program, she will be able turn her life around and will one day thank the Judge for her sentence. Lindsay, trust me, it can get worse!!! Give yourself a break and follow what they tell you in Rehab. You will never beat your addictions as it will eventually kill you.
