Dina Lohan watched in disbelief as her daughter Lindsay was sentenced Tuesday to 90 days in jail for violating terms of probation over a three-year-old drug case."This is so not fair to do this to my child," a flabbergasted Dina Lohan told PopEater exclusively shortly after Judge Marsha Revel made the announcement.
The 'Mean Girls' actress must begin serving her sentence on July 20, however she likely won't serve the entire 90 days. Many female inmates in Lohan's situation only serve about 25% of their sentence, meaning that the star will only spend about 23 days behind bars. Immediately after leaving jail, Lohan will spend another 90 days at an in-patient rehab facility.

She broke the law, twice or even more! She needs to pay for it. I'm sick of all these celebs getting away with what "regular" people do all the time. Suck it up Lohan, do your time and quit crying about it. Your own fault. And you should have served jail time, rehab time a long time ago for what you did.

wow thats lindsay now? shes only 20? she looks about 30 in those pics. i wonder how old she looks without makeup. maybe coke does make you age faster. she'll probably only sit about 20 days and besides that rehab is more of a joke than anything. dont see what shes all crying and worked up about. thats not too bad considering violating probation and having cocaine involved.

Her sentence isn't fair? What's not fair is the special treatment she's been given! Just talk to all of the prison inmates sitting in jail for breaking the conditions of their parole, for having cocaine on their person, for driving drunk, and for reckless driving behavior.

The attorney, Lisa Bloom, was not mistaken in asking Lindsey to
report to rehab immediately. You are the ones mistaken.
Lisa understood the sentence - that IS what she does for a living,
you know. The simple fact is, however, that there are two weeks
before she must report to jail and it was Lisa Bloom's plea that
Lindsey report to rehab for those two weeks and get started on her
treatment instead of waiting. They wanted her to start getting better now - why wait until she goes to jail? If she doesn't, all she's going to do is continue to spiral downward until July 20.

Well maybe the judge should have made the parents pay for the train wreck they created. The parents should do 90 days in jail, and Lilo sent to rehab. Maybe if mom and dad do some time when they get out they wont be so tolerated of little girls troubled ways. They need to be taught a lesson along with Lilo because dont they still have another child that is trying to get into music and acting? By punishing them and giving them a taste of what justice is may save the other child from the mistakes of big sis.

For a few minutes I felt like this woman deserved jail time, but waking up this morning I felt entirely different. She needs a drug rehabilitation program...not a country club pretending to be one, a real one. Locked up, can't leave, no contact with anyone and some great no nonsense counselors. I wish her the best. She grew up different than the majority of people condemning her. She never had a chance, millionaire by 12 years old and parents who care most about the money machine who is Lindsay. Get well young lady and get rid of all of those sycophants that hang around you. You are in my prayers.

I actually think Lindsey looks possessed, her eyes are just weird looking. She has absolutely no light or truth in her, she is a pathetic leach and victim. Dina Lohan should have been arrested YEARS ago when she was taking Lindsay to bars when she was a teenager. If I took MY teenager in bars and let him drink, I would have been arrested for contributing to the deliquency of a minor! She has no one to blams but herself for "poor Lyndsays" problems. Lyndsay wouldn't expect that she would have to follow the rules like everyone else, because her MOTHER never made her do so when she was a child. Lindsay had better shape up before she kills herself with drugs and/or alcohol.

I hope that this young woman gets the message. She needs help and perhaps 90 days in prison is a start. I don't give a damn about her as a "celebrity" but I do care about her as a human.
I do know that her life is on the line. It is a turning point one way or the other. I sincerely hope that she gets it but the odds are against her.

If she had gone before a judge in my area, she would have gotten a real sentence. The judge was too easy on her. Where is her mother while she's falling apart? You never see pictures of them together. Her father isn't any better. On the other hand, she's an adult and needs to get her act together. I don't feel the least bit sorry for her. She should spend the entire 90 days in jail. It could be a real wake up call for her.

Look, Dina Lohan is a pig. it is her fault her kids are all screwed up. At least the father made mistakes and is now trying to make up for them; but this woman enabled lindsay and never disciplined her. If her sentence is 90 days, leave her there for 90 days. If you left her there for forever, would anyone even care???
If it were you or I in her position, we certainly would not be released any earlier than the end of the stipulated sentence.
It's no wonder celebrities continue to do stupid things and not straighten out their lives.
If you never had to deal with (the full) consequences of your actions or held accountable, would you?
