No Downer Here: Rachel Dratch Is Pregnant!

Chin up, Debbie Downer, you're having a baby! 'Saturday Night Live' alum and all-around funny chick Rachel Dratch is expecting her first child, PEOPLE has confirmed.

The actress, 44, is due in September. So far, there's no word on who the father is.

Though she hasn't confirmed the news publicly, New York magazine's Daily Intel blog spotted Dratch posing "bump to bump" with her fellow 'SNL'er Amy Poehler at a premiere on June 30.

Dratch is best known for her quirky characters on 'SNL,' including the sad-sack Debbie Downer and Virginia Klarvin, half of The Lovers. Since leaving the iconic sketch show, Dratch has appeared on '30 Rock,' 'Ugly Betty' and 'Wizards of Waverly Place.'

I love Rachel Dratch and miss her on SNL! I use to love when she played the "deformity" with a foot growing out of her head and she was drooling, sorry if it was politically incorrect, but it was funny! Congrats!

Actually, I thought she looked pregnant when she appearred on SNL when Betty White was the host. That was in May, so she would have been 5 months pregnant.

Get a life...this country is going down the tubes...what is wrong with getting married before you get pregnate. This kind of thing is what is helping to force this country down hill.

Maybe it is thought to be OK in other parts of the world but read the Bible and get it straight..

So folks please do not continue to voice approval for this kind of thing...it is too sad really - just a Mom with NO real father except for a sperm donator..this does not make for a family.

Children are better off in a real family with a real Mom and Dad..look what is happening when there seems to be more single Moms collecting welafare.. Maybe this one wont be collecting welfare but approval of this kind of behavor just reinforces welfare Moms to have more..

I am so thrilled that Rachel Dratch is expecting a baby. I don't even care who the Father is, or if she is married. She deserves happiness. I also believe that because Rachel no longer is on SNL, it is no longer funny.

Congrats to Rachel Dratch! But seriously..whats up with all the weird names the celebs are naming their kids?? Petal Blossom Rainbow? Poppy Honey? Daisy Boo? I feel so sorry for these kids that have parents that would name them such awful names. Make those names their nick names if you have to but make their real names something normal you freaks!
