Crystal Bowersox Gets Her Teeth Fixed

'American Idol' runner-up Crystal Bowersox took to her Twitter account to show off her new smile. "What's NOT missing in this picture?????? Yeah. That's right," she wrote. The singer, who was known for her gap-toothed grin, took a trip to the dentist and it appears she couldn't be happier with the results. Her rep tells PEOPLE that Bowersox decided to fix her pearly whites before going on tour.

During the entire season of 'Idol,' she refused to get her teeth fixed. Perhaps she didn't want anything interfering with her singing during the competition.

On the first night of the 'Idol' finale, Bowersox's rendition of Patty Griffin's 'Up to the Mountain' earned raves from the judges. However, she ultimately fell short, and finished the competition in second place. Listen to her new single.

Nothing makes a person look more like they live in the back woods of Butcher Holler than gnarly teeth. She looks 100% better.

I like people to keep their own uniqueness. Now she looks just like everyone else. Who says teeth with a gap is not attractive and who sets the standards for all of this anyway. Whatever everyone is doing, I do the opposite to keep my identity. Anymore everyone is starting to look like everyone else. Just my opinion.

Too call people shallow makes that person shallow,this is a place to voice opinion and I am with the dread lock look dislikers,its discusting looking but to say it was creasy and dirty is showing how dumb some people can be.Idol is all but done.It is voted on by a bunch of kids thst think cool is more important than talent,and too many years where talent loses to what young teens think is cool,its sad,I would like it to drop the call in vote and replace it with a panel of music experts and no to Ellen

Anyone can live with not so perfect teeth, but decaying teeth like hers can cause more health problems for her, esp. with her being a type 1 diabetic.

I AM GLAD FOR CRYSTAL THAT SHE GOT TO GET HER TEETH FIXED, BUT SHE WAS CUTE ANYWAY AND A GREAT SINGER. I STILL THINK SHE SHOULD HAVE WON AMERICAN IDOL, BUT THAT IS NEITHER HERE OR THERE NOW. Seriously do we really care this much about a celebrity (Lindsey Lohan) who's only visible body of work in 3 years has been on the news????? ..There are millions of talented young and smart actor's in this world that are not on drugs and in a self destructive mode 24 hours a day.....I mean she is medioaker at best. She is rude and selfish and although I wish her well on some type of recovery????? It probably won't happen now because Lindsey cant change what she doesn't acknowledge...So keep lying to yourself Miss Lohan we all know your smarter than everyone else and you think you are more special than the rest of us, I just hope for your sake your not just another statistic...I pray for her that at the very least, she learns what humility is...But I won't hold my breath

Her teeth look nice now. She has a really great voice. Now for the Bob Marley hair...no-way...she looks very attractive, but, needs to get rid of things that are a no-go in the music/artists business a distraction ( down-playing ) good looks, as there are alot of not so nice looking people out there, doing their THING, whatever that is...& they are NOT multi-talented either, Good-LUCK...Ms. Sox...keep smiling!

With the incredible voice Crystal has, who cares what she looks like, as long as she continues to share it with us. When she sings you can see in her eyes that she is loving every second of it. Don't be hateful and try to take that away from her. Be happy that someone can make us feel so much through her voice and music.

The simple fact is, the best singer won. Lee is so much more versitile than Crystal. Crystal will most likely end up in Jamaica singing reggae and smoking weed. Lee will blossom...I could see him being the next Dave Matthews.
