Hours (maybe minutes?) after issuing a press statement today slamming the jail sentence against her client, Lindsay Lohan's lawyer informed TMZ that she no longer represents the actress. Earlier on Thursday, Shawn Chapman Holley said the 'Mean Girls' star is "extremely disappointed" in the 90-day sentence doled out on Tuesday and accused the judge of unfair treatment."We believe that the penalty is far harsher than what others would have received under similar circumstances," Holley said.
But shortly after sending out those fightin' words in defense of Lohan, Holley, who consoled the wailing star when Judge Marsha Revel revealed her decision, announced she was going to end the day with one less client.

Reality check for Ms. Lohan.. She needs to wake up and get it together.. She has been running "wild" way too long.. I hope the judge sticks to her decision. This will benefit Lindsay in the long run. Make her realize that she has to abide by the rules just like the rest of us. It's time to grow up girl!!

I agree--Lindsay has been out-of-controll while our troops are fighting in two wars. I believe 90 days in jail followed by 90 days in rehab will sober her up. Military people her age have live 6 months to a year in war zones. Which would she rather do?
Your right tina she needs to grow up.When you take that long walk down the concrete walkway. They undo your handcuffs and put you into the cell before the guard signals for that ever so loud clang of the door to shut.you have all the time in the world to listen to your inner self teach and medn whats wrong with you .If she lsitens to whats been told to her its in her ehad now .she will grow and get better .what doesnt kill us makes us stronger .
she is also aloud to bring kids into this worl. can you believe what that is going to be like...they should tie her tubes now before she breaths one of these things....
Who are you talking to?
Two DUIs and two posession charges followed by her thumbing her nose at the court. The most she'll do is a month, so I'd say she had one very good lawyer.
What the parents won't do, the courts have to...it's so unfortunate, and I believe this will happen more and more because parents want to be friends with their kids instead of parents...so when kids grow up they think they can have, get and do whatever they want...then reality kicks in, in the form of the law...let me tell you they will learn one way or the other...I'm glad I grew up when parents could discipline their children because I would rather my parents punish me than the courts....
You all should move to the mideast where you can chant with the Mullahs.
Ever since MADD got involved DUIs are one of the most money making schemes in the country.
Take away her driving privileges but jail?
@cf: When did taking someone's driving privileges actually stop them from driving? She'll still have access to a vehicle(s).
You moron.
Lindsey is in trouble, that's obvious... I think the punishment is too harsh myself. Jail time is over the top. I say put her in 180 days of inpatient rehab -- with the possibility of sentence continuance based on her recovery status. The girl needs help, not jail.
To Nan Hahn, I'm sorry that I do not share your interpretation of the situation that has surrounded Lindsay Lohan. I stand by my former statements. Whether or not she is a spoiled brat is not for anyof us to decide. Ninety days in jail is not appropriate for her. Rehab MAY be. I don't know, and neither do you.

this young woman has thumbed her nose at the court for years and this is the end result, she has no one to blame but herself and another person making excuses for her only supports her flawed thinking. i have worked for celebrities and they, in general, think that they are entitled to different treatment and LL is doing the same. you try doing what she has done and see what happens to you and how long you get away with it before the boom is lowered on you. it will be a lot faster than it was for LL.
You're right Norene, 90 days is not appropriate. 1 year would be appropriate. She walked into a courtroom after pooh-poohing the judge for months and basically told the judge to go "f" herself. If we continue to believe you and coddle these entitled and grossly undereducated "celebrities" they will continue to thumb their noses at the law and the public. It's time to crack down on these show people and sports stars.
Her punishment was fair and appropriate. Ms.Lohan's attitude towards the court and her probation was full of contempt. She has had more chances than most other people would have received as adults. Make excuses for people enables them. She is getting her much needed rehab rehab..after she serves her jail time.
I disagree. Jail is exactly what is needed. Lohan needs to understand that she is not above the law and that the rules do apply to her. Perhaps she will be scared straight(no pun intended) if she is made to understand her celebrity status and money does not put her above the law and her conduct has consequences.
Due to the seriousness of her offense (two DUI's, she could have killed someone) I think she is getting off light. She could have avoided jail altogether if she had just paid attention.
Noreen...who are you? Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I guess your opinion means more than the other persons...right? Get a life and learn like the rest of us; if you do the crime, you do the time. If it was up to me, she would have not had bail, gone directly to jail and we would not be in this mess.
Norene, apparently rehab ISN'T appropriate since she has already been there how many times? Why is jail time not appropriate for someone who has broken the law and flaunted it? Too bad she will probably still be in denial when she gets out. And as soon as her latest rehab is stint is over, she will probably head straight to the nearest nightclub.
Do you people really believe she will do 3 months in jail? What planet are you people on? The last time she was ordered to go to jail she spent a whopping 84 minutes in there. She will do a week or two and they will let her go. This girl doesn't need 6 mos. of treatment, she needs 2 years like Robert Downey Jr. It worked for him.....
