Michael Lohan Wants Lindsay in Rehab Right Now

Michael Lohan must think father knows best.

Daddy Lohan sat down for an interview with Nick Cannon on 92.3 NOW to talk about daughter Linday Lohan's predicament.

When asked how he felt about Lindsay's 90-day jail sentence followed by a mandatory 90-day stay in rehab, Michael responded: "Baffled, I guess is the best way to describe it. I just don't understand why Lindsay's team aren't taking measures to get her into a rehab. I understand that she wants to appeal her case, but the right way to do it is for her to actually show ... or that she has incentive and she's taking the right steps to get her into rehab before she's supposed to go into jail."

He thinks the 'Mean Girls' star should go to rehab first to possibly lighten her sentence. "I think if she does this and files an appeal, maybe the judge will reverse this and say, 'OK, go to the rehab first. And if you complete it and do it the right way and get off everything you're on, then maybe there won't be any jail.'"

Meanwhile, Dina Lohan, Michael's ex-wife, believes her daughter is a "fighter" and will get through this.

Michael Lohan should keep is pie hole shut. He is as bad as Dina. Put Lindsay in jail now not 2 weeks from now.

RAS..........I agree with you wholeheartedly. If Lohan's father wanted her to be in rehab, he should have made sure she stayed when she was in rehab. Now that she has to serve jail time, he cries, no, no, no she needs to be in rehab. Actually, she, Dina and Michael should all be locked up in the same jail cell and the keys thrown away. They are ALL useless pieces of garbage.

This Dad is as big a joke as his daughter, Lindsy. How many times has she been given a chance to do anything right? How many times has she thumbed her nose at the courts and the public. Jail is what she deserves, not sympathy. If she made any real attempt to go straight, maybe, just maybe this brat of an adult would warrant sympathy. Jail first, then rehab. She will never rehab unless she knows that she cannot get away with her brat like behavior.

The man is sure showing his face every where. He is not the voice of reason to this young woman. When I see him on TV it makes me sick, how he takes credit for her help, when he should have been there in the first place instead of a jail cell.

This is the first time in a loooog while that I was really
happy with the judge.

Your spoiled brat has been in rehab daddy. What will a thrid time do? Jail just may change her life.
...and let the egotist clean up her nails while she serves her time.

Maybe both parents should concentrate less on how to get this brat off with a lesser punishment and concentrate more on providing a more stable influence on their poor little girl. Mom and Dad, take a look at the fingernail decoration she wore to court and tell me that your little girl has taken any ownership of her situation. I certainly hope that the spokesperson for LASO is wrong and that 'LL' (Litlle Loser) will do straight time both in jail and in rehab and in that order. It might send an accurate message to the rest of those 'special' people in entertainment and athletics.

These parents are not accepting the fact that their daughter is going to jail and then on to rehab. The judge is saving Lindsay's life and the parents only seeing their paycheck go away for several months, and possibly less marketable with a criminal record. Lindsay's only hope for a future is to take her from the people who enable her self distruction, includimg her selfish parents.

His he serious? Why should the judge lessen her time in jail? Lindsay disrespected the court system, had warning after warning, and blatently snubbed her nose at everything. She lied and lied time after time. Maybe if the parents were parents when Lindsay was growing up, and set better examples, she would not be where she is today; a self centered, spoiled brat, who has no respect for anyone, and not even herself. I would have less respect for the system if they gave Lindsay a slap on the wrist after all the crap she has pulled. She does need help and maybe the first step is jail, then rehab. It just may save her life.

She's been to rehab TWICE...That's obviously not going to work if she went again. SHE NEEDS JAIL.

Rehab seldom works, ever! But one of the pre-requisites for it having any chance at all is that the patient wants to quit! I'd say by Lindsay's nail message to the judge clearly says she has no intention of quitting anything. Yeah, she's a fighter alright, right to her own death!

Lindsay needs to go to jail. When she gets out she can do the TV remake of "Born Innocent" and only then she may learn a lesson.

And why should the judge care what he thinks? He and the mother did absolutely nothing to raise this woman. They should be grateful that there is someone who cares enough for there daughter to get her some help. Michael and Dina Lohan Should be the Poster people for sterilization. It is people like them that should not be allowed to have kids.
