Michael Lohan must think father knows best.Daddy Lohan sat down for an interview with Nick Cannon on 92.3 NOW to talk about daughter Linday Lohan's predicament.
When asked how he felt about Lindsay's 90-day jail sentence followed by a mandatory 90-day stay in rehab, Michael responded: "Baffled, I guess is the best way to describe it. I just don't understand why Lindsay's team aren't taking measures to get her into a rehab. I understand that she wants to appeal her case, but the right way to do it is for her to actually show ... or that she has incentive and she's taking the right steps to get her into rehab before she's supposed to go into jail."
He thinks the 'Mean Girls' star should go to rehab first to possibly lighten her sentence. "I think if she does this and files an appeal, maybe the judge will reverse this and say, 'OK, go to the rehab first. And if you complete it and do it the right way and get off everything you're on, then maybe there won't be any jail.'"

we all thought lindsay was trash and then we get another dose of her dad. referring to him as trash gives garbage a bad name. jail for her, obscurity for him. (we can only hope)

If i'm not mistaken, did she do rehab, like 3 or 4 other times?! And guess what?!? Neither one of them worked!!! Whether it was a plush hotel (excuse me - rehab) she needs to just go to jail, and hopefully NEVER EVER heard from again!!!??? :)

She made up for it thinking the legal syatem failed her family. Michael and his equally moronic ex wife should have been focused on things like teaching their children "accountability","manners", "responsibility", "humility","self control" , "morals", and a "work ethic". These two idiots expect the court sytem and the general public to enable and excuse their spoiled brat daughter and feel sorry for her. They are stuck on stupid and they would be wise if they just disappeared

IN MY OPINION LINDSAY DOSEN'T NEED JAIL, OR REHAB, BUT A MENTAL HOSPITAL. MAYBE ADJOINING ROOMS WITH HER MOM. HER DAD NEEDS TO BE ON A DESERTED ISLAND FOR AT LEAST FOUR YEARS........

A third stab at rehab, OK,why not, throw another prawn on the barbie, I wouldn't be averse to this. Heres what the judge can do, modify the sentence to have Lindsay Lohan be in a state run lock down facility for the criminally mentally deranged.
Then there will be no issue as to whether shes getting the treatment she needs,
those other two rehabs were jokes, they were those notorious so called celebrity rehab type places, gourmet food, big screen TV's, a bunch of dr. phil type goofballs masquerading as so called therapists. Give us all a break.
Jailing this idiot does nothing, from the standpoint of the tab the state of california is gonna have to financially put out, doesn't make a dirt in dishwater difference whether shes in a state mental institution or a county jail.

I'm sure glad someone else shares my view of rehab centers. What a frk'g joke!
Remember the ole show FATHER KNOWS BEST? it seems to be true in this case, only instead of rehab maybe a year in a mental lockup would help her a lot more. She's young so she could spare a year and never miss it. Hell she won't even know where she is anyway taking the drugs she is already on.

Nobodies doing 90 days. The jail system is so overburdened with drug arrest that no one does the full term. Legalize and tax. then you'll have some money to create some effective rehab, drug education methods. War on drugs.... what a hoax. Didn't work for Nixon, Johnson, Bush etc, etc.
Get the drugs out of the public parks and into the distribution networks... you know like booze.

Lindsey Lohan's NEW lawyer plans to file an appeal to keep her out of jail. Oh sure, that'll go over real good,...especially after Linds appeared in court with that decorative fingernail, and after her sentencing did nothing but bad-mouth the judge. She should do time UNDER the jail!

Perhaps, Michael (Daddy knows best) considering he's been through it (wake up people he has been there and done that, Micheal knows best not Dina obviously she needs rehab herself)he knows the twelve steps and the philosophy.... apparently he can see Lindsay through this he is her father after all. Dina has had full custody of the children and the truth is, children learn what they LIVE....

Furthermore, Lindsay needs to go through the twelve steps and learn about the philosophy and serve jail time as a convict with no special treatment and attend a rehab that is on the list as the worst in her state (that isn't for celebratities but for actual convicts) she needs a good taste of not above everybody else.......:):):):):):):)
