'Say Yes to the Dress' Meets Most Interesting Brides Yet

Every week, TLC's 'Say Yes to the Dress' takes viewers behind the scenes at Kleinfeld Bridal, New York City's premier destination for wedding dresses for over 60 years.
From pushy family members and pregnant brides to bridezillas and enormous wedding parties, the staff at Kleinfeld Bridal has seen it all. Or have they? The two very special brides featured on the July 9 episode threw the Kleinfeld staff for a loop with their offbeat requests. Cherine Abozied's fantasy was to look like an "Egyptian Barbie," while Jessica Spinelli was on the hunt for a dress to match her a pair of custom made fairy wings.
PopEater sat down with Cherine and Jessica to talk about what made their experience at Kleinfeld Bridal simply unforgettable. Catch a sneak peek of tonight's episode of 'Say Yes to the Dress' after the jump!
There's a good reason Jessica Spinelli has been called "the most memorable woman" to ever shop at Kleinfeld Bridal.
A Wiccan bride planning a fantasy themed wedding complete with pirates, fairies and her now-husband dressed as a king, Jessica needed a wedding dress that would compliment a set of custom-made fairy wings.
"Ever since I was a little girl, that's how I always pictured it. I always pictured having giant wings and a horse drawn carriage. I didn't have the horse drawn carriage -- but it was at a castle, so it kind of worked out the way I always envisioned it," Jessica says of her anything-but-traditional nuptials.
After working tirelessly with the Kleinfeld staff, Jessica was able to find her dream dress, a lace gown with a tulle skirt that "screamed fairy."
"It turned out just like a fairytale. It was awesome. It turned out just how I pictured it as a little girl. There was a little girl there that thought the whole thing was real! She really thought I was a fairy princess and my husband was a king."
Cherine fantasized about looking like an "Egyptian Barbie" on her wedding day, but when she entered Kleinfeld Bridal, she had to take a second look at her wallet before saying yes to the dress. Adding even more pressure, Cherine admits she "waited until the last minute," only three months before her wedding, to find her perfect dress.
"I was cutting it really close. Most brides go in a year before their wedding. But honestly, how do you even know what you're going to look like in a year? I knew I was going to walk out with a dress, but I didn't walk out with the dress I thought I was going to get," she admits.
When she first arrived, she told the Kleinfeld staff that she expected to look like Barbie on her wedding day. "I love Barbie. She's sexy, beautiful and everybody loves her," she explains to PopEater. While she envisioned a glamorous look, the staff took her in a different -- more simple -- direction.
Although she wanted a "bling-bling" look that would blow her guests away, she decided on a simple and traditional lace dress that had her mother's seal of approval. "It was completely different than what I thought, but I was sold when they put the veil on me," she recalls of the dress she decided was "the one."
"This dress is exactly what my mom wanted and envisioned me wearing on my wedding day," she adds.
Now, with her July 18 wedding looming, she's eagerly anticipating her future husband's reaction to the dress. "I want him to take me home in it," she gushes. "We're very old school and don't live together yet. So I want him to see me and be like, 'That's my wife. She's beautiful. I can't wait to sweep her away with me.'"
