Susan Boyle Launches Own Singing Competition

Susan Boyle got her start as an unknown on 'Britain's Got Talent,' now the singer is looking for some untapped talent on her own.

The Scottish sensation is holding a competition on her website and the winner gets a chance to sing with her on her next album.

Participants are asked to upload a video of themselves to Boyle's YouTube channel singing 'Silent Night.'

"Well, when I did 'Britain's Got Talent,' I was given a chance by Simon Cowell to show what I could do. This got me thinking about people who maybe missed the opportunity, so I came up with the idea for Susan's Search," she says in a video.

"Susan's Search is about giving people an opportunity. It's about letting them live the dream that they have always wanted to do," she adds.

"At the end of the day, the lucky person will get a chance to do a duet with me on the album. It will be a lot of fun for them and a lot of excitement," she continues.

She finishes by explaining how to enter through her website, SusanBoyleMusic.com. She will pick the winner herself.

Susan is just a beautiful lady. She will give someone a chance to prove themselves. I just love people like her, especially when they show someone up like Simon. You go girl! Not only has she got a great voice, but a good heart, you sure cannot say that about many of the stars, they forget the fans is what put them on top, and Susan recognized this, she has so many. I was a fan of jodie Foster for years, until she showed her sarcasm and violence to some young fans, her and Sean Penn would be a great match. Or how about Sean and Jack Nicholson, they both must have fell off the same tree, close to some cow manure, always got their noses snarled up, ready to attack a cameraman, what would they ever have been, if a camerman had not wanted to film them, what for anyway? Neither is talented, Jack is really crazy, so it's not an act.

Susan is an exceptionally beautiful person, and far beyond ordinary in her vocal talent. She's like a breath of fresh air in the music industry and there is going to be a very lucky person who is chosen for this opportunity, thanks to this great lady. Even meeting Susan Boyle...what an honor.

Robert I dont understand how you dont see that Susan is a lovely singer, and she is an angel, no attitude like others that in the minute they are famous they forget their fans, and treat them like manure, she is cute and a good heart, God Bless.
