Carrie Underwood Weds Hockey Player Mike Fisher

Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are now husband and wife. The couple married in front of 250 guests on Saturday, PEOPLE reports.

"We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!" they said in a statement.

The ceremony was "a spiritual expression of their love," their wedding planner described.

Underwood wore a Monique Lhuillier dress. The wedding was complete with classical music and readings from the bible.

According to RadarOnline, the wedding took place at the Ritz Carlton in Greensboro, Georgia. Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, Faith Hill and Garth Brooks were among the guests.

The 27-year-old singer and 30-year-old hockey player were engaged last December.

Why would you capitalize 'bible?" If it were being referred to as 'Jewish Bible' or 'Books of the Bible', or whatever title a specific religion decides to call their bible, then you would capitalize it. Other books, such as novels, murder mysteries (can the bible be in that category?), and children fairy tales (Oh, the bible is definitely in THAT category!) are capitalized when referred to by their titles.
And just for the record, I do not capitalize god either. And before you "burn me" in (your) hell. You can't, I don't believe in hell either! lmao.

And to Hot Tea...you ALWAYS capitalize Bible. Simply because it's God's Holy Word.

All the best to a very handsome couple. Carrie hasn't let her success go to her head; she has remained the same nice down-to-earth person she was on Idol. That is refreshing. It is a rare occurrence these days. I'm sure Mike has the same qualities or Carrie would not be with him. May they have a long happy life together.
