Lindsay Lohan's Plan to Stay Out of Jail

Lindsay Lohan might have been sentenced to 90 days in the slammer last week by an angry judge, but that doesn't mean the troubled young actress is going down without a fight.

"Lindsay has no intention of going to jail," a friend of Lohan's tells me. "The only thing that Lindsay did wrong was hire the wrong attorney and now she has fixed that."

Lindsay now has a new attorney, Stuart V. Goldberg, who has arrived in Los Angeles from Chicago claiming, "We're going after them."

Lindsay is supposed to surrender to the court by July 20, but now that her new lawyer is in place, sources tell me Lindsay is confident she won't have to spend a minute in jail.

"She is paying her new lawyer a fortune to fix this mess. She doesn't care what it takes," an insider tells me. "If Lindsay needs to start a Facebook campaign or set up protests or something like that she is totally into it. They are treating Lindsay differently because she is a star, so it's about time she used her star power to help her. She's seen the movie 'Chicago' several times, so it's not like she doesn't know how this sort of thing works!"

Will someone please hand Mr. Goldberg his tap shoes, please? I think it's time for the fancy footwork rag!

Of course it won't be the end of the world -- or financial success -- for LiLo if she does serve time; I previously discovered Lohan could earn a whopping payday (to the tune of $1 million) for an exclusive post-jail interview.

"Financially, it's the best thing that could have ever happened to Lindsay," a magazine insider tells me. "It's no secret that Lindsay has been in financial trouble for a while. She will earn more money from her post-prison interview than she ever earned acting."

If this woman had hit someone that you know when she was driving under the influence, you would not feel the same way. People that feel that they have the right to drink and drive and endanger the rest of society belong in jail.

I agree with you Susy, No one deserves to be trashed like that, (about Lindsay) it doesn't matter if movie star or a norm...people are so full of hatred that the rage they feel inside keeps them from seen the good on anybody and that's so sad, because we all should just be thankful for what we have.
These hateful people who post ugly remarks towards this girl, maybe be the same ones who used to trash Michael Jackson, calling him names etc. etc. yet, when he died the Hypocrites wrote about how "sorry they were of his death".

We don't hate Lindsay. Yes Lindsay is being treated differently because she is a star. She recieved a lighter sentence. Any no named person would have been given a much longer sentence and not as many chances as Lindsay. The girl needs to grow up and take her punishment. She did the crime and must pay for it. Will she fight going to rehab after trying to get out of jail time? She needs to close her mouth and get through her jail time and rehab.

Susie is right! Most of the people beating up on Lindsey are the "Meekiest" amoung us. Meeker is probably an unattractive overweight woman who sat out the her prom and feels better when pretty women are injured. They feel better when they percieve the playing field is "leveled", when the beautiful are hurt in some way.She probably voted for obama too which goes to show you she's not the sharpest tool in the shed either! LOLPeople who've done worse have avoided jail;(OJ Simpson), so big deal if her new laywer helps her aviod the pokey.Get a life people and find something productive to do besides downing another twinkie while twittering here.

"THE vitriol and hate that you people are expressing towards this woman is as if she did something personal to you."

I cannot speak for everyone but in my case anyone who is so selfish as to endanger lives of others by driving under the influence deserve "the vitriol and hate". She goes thru life as if she can do anything she pleases and there will be no consequences. Heaven forbid she is able to get off without jail time and continues on her path of destruction.

She is being given the chance to atone for her past misdeeds and all she can do is try to find a way out. Obviously she has not learned...and may not learn until she takes her own life or the life of an innocent bystander.

She is only a star in her and her parent's dillusional minds.She should put as much effort into making herself a better person. I hope this guy soaks the family for all they have. There are three things that Stuart V. Goldberg loves; money, fame and Stuart V. Goldberg. Did I also mention money? This is a legal "point of diminishing returns", is it worth it to spent 6 figures to fight this instead of spending maybe 6 or 7 days in jail? Is a Ferrari pratical to go to Mickey D's for morning coffee?
Goldberg might get her off but at what cost. She is an alcoholic and this could validate in her mind "that nothing I do is wrong".
The next time, and it will happen again, she might kill someone.
As for her friend saying "she is a star", of what? Any Oscar's Emmy's, Golden Globe's? Lindsay Lohan, a legend in her own mind!
