Second Mel Gibson Phone Call Released, More Racist Rants Ensue

The hits just keep on coming for Mel Gibson.
RadarOnline.com has obtained a second recording of a phone call from the actor to his now ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.
"You need a f-----g bat in the side of the head. Alright, how about that?" he threatens in the call. "You're gonna answer one day, boy, you're gonna answer."
"I'll put you in a f -----g rose garden you c--t! You understand that? Because I'm capable of it. You understand that?" the actor continues.
Mel, who is being investigated for domestic violence, also admits to hitting Oksana on the call. When she asks him what kind of man would hit the mother of his child, while she's holding the baby, he responds, "Oh, you're all angry now! You know what, you f-----g deserved it!"
On the first call, Gibson was just as eloquent.
"So you're not lying to me about fake t---?" he begins. ""They look ridiculous. Get rid of them why don't you."
"You go out in public and it's a f-----g embarrassment to me. You look like a f------ b---- in heat. And if you get raped by a pack of n------ it will be your fault. Alright? Because you provoked it. You are provocatively dressed all the time with your fake boobs that you feel you have to show off. I don't like it. I don't want that woman. I don't want you. I don't trust you. I don't love you," Gibson yelled.
The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department is investigating Gibson over an alleged domestic violence incident from earlier this year involving his ex-girlfriend.
According to a news release, police have opened an inquiry into the alleged attack, which is dated Jan. 6, and are "currently gathering information regarding the allegations."
Sources tell
TMZ that incidents also occurred in February and that Grigorieva, who has an 8-month old daughter named Lucia with Gibson, spoke to deputies on Monday.
The pair broke up in April after dating for a little over a year. At the time, Grigorieva was quoted as saying, "We have split up, suddenly and recently ... Unfortunately, I cannot give you the reason. But you will find out everything quite soon."
The couple made their first public appearance only a few weeks after Gibson's wife of over 30 years, Robyn, filed for divorce. Gibson has seven children from that marriage. Grigorieva has a son, Alexander, from a previous relationship with actor Timothy Dalton.
In the fall out from the first tape, Gibson's talent agency dumped him earlier this week in light of all the allegations. Gibson was repped by William Morris Endeavor Entertainment for several decades, specifically by longtime agent Ed Limato. Limato died last week leaving WME partner Ari Emanuel to cut ties with the actor, something he'd wanted to do since Gibson's anti-Semitic tirade in 2006.
"Mel was really important to Ed," an agency source said. "He was with him for 32 years and I think Ed saw him as a son." But he added, "The world knows how Ari feels and he has never changed that opinion."
Gibson is no longer on probation for a 2006 drunken driving case, and his conviction has since been expunged.

This guy needs to shut up.
Just asking, is it legal to tape someone without their knowledge in California? If not, these tapes can't be used in court.

The content of the tapes, namely the threats on her life, override the recording issue. If one were recording a conversation minus the bodily threats and domestic violence content, it would be a different story. These are admissable in court, and it was her point to record them to prevent Gibson from having custody of their child.
It's legal as long as one of the parties on the tape knows about it.
There is an exemption for threats of criminal behavior; very narrow, but this should qualify as one party making threats against the physical well being of the second party.
She obviously knows whether or not the tapes are admissable in court.Thats not her purpose here. She is basically exposing the a-hole that gibson really is. If I were her,Id do the same. This guy has extreme anger issues and as for being a wife beater,I am inclined to believe her.Hoorah for electronic devices, they expose him for the a## that mel is.
That was what I was thinking too. I'm pretty sure it is illegal to tape someone on the phone with out their knowledge.
Actually it is illegal to tape anyone without their knowledge in California, meaning both parties have to know it is being done.Otherwise it is wire tapping, she cannot use them in court, that is why they are being leaked as proof that he was threatening her.
It's legal if it's a domestic abuse issue. It's sad, I always liked Mel Gibson.
It is illegal to tape a conversation without the knowledge of all parties in CA. That is why, when you call a business they will tell you, your conversation may be taped..not sure what if any exceptions there are.
im real sad about mel and his actions. but he is still a good actor, if he made a movie i would watch. hes been around the business long enough to know that young beautiful women have taken advvantage of movie stars since the beginning of movies. he should pull up his boot straps and go on with his life , as he has learned a very valuable lesson. Mel, wake up. grow up and get on with making movies. Be happy if you can.
No from my understanding they cannot be used against him. He would have to been told first he was being recorded and then agreed to it. But if he agreed to it I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have talked that way. To me it is just wrong to publish peoples private lives out in the open, Every body would be on national TV for every nasty word we have said to someone, at sometime in our lives. It is just not right. It seems to well planned for this to be broadcast I feel sorry for some of these actors /actress' when news media tries to dig up dirt. Shame on people.
No it is not legal to record someone without them knowing. Mel needs to shut up and not talk to her on the phone. She is looking to nail him and she is doing a good job. She knows how to push his buttons to get him angry. He should turn around and file charges against her for illegally recording him and releasing them to the press. He does have issues that he needs to address but I also believe she has the press eating out of her hands. You would think that actors would learn lessons from fellow actors about marrying gold diggers.
No, it is not legal to tape a phone conversation without the other person's knowledge. It is a "criminal act". However, as anything in law, there are exceptions. Threats/admissions of domestic violence clearly is one of the exceptions as otherwise it will just be "he said, she said" behind closed doors without witness. The tape is clearly admissible. However, the problem of leaking it to the media is that it biases the jury pool and the judge as everyone now has an opinion and there will be no unbiased juror or judge left.
I think that Oksana has invited this situation. Had she walked away from a married man she would not be involved in all this. Misery is the price of immorality.

Blaming the woman isn't okay. He's physically stronger than she is, men usually are, and aside from that it was he who went off the deep end. There is NEVER! a reason for a man to strike a woman, and to even suggest that she was "asking for it" is a sign of someone who is not quite all there. As for "misery is the price of immorality", babe there are a lot of people who appear in public to be "moral" and behind closed doors they are about as moral as a tomcat. Just look at Congress is you want an example. The double lives that go on among these bozos would shock the hell out of any one or all of the Founding Fathers, who, to tell the truth, weren't all that moral themselves. As for being "miserable", most people are at one time or another in their lives. Including, I suspect, yourself.
AMEN...nuff said
I agree, that having an affair is not a great idea. It actually shows that you have NO RESPECT for yourself. BUT.... that does NOT mean that she deserves to be hit by a lunatic. Mel is, obviously, NOT BALANCED emotionally and NEEDS a serious intervention, before someone truly gets hurt.
It would take ONE HIT and, belive me, I'd make sure he KNEW it was the LAST TIME he'd ever hit me.
Women who STAY in a relationship like this are in serious need of help... women who LEAVE are strong and deserve applause!!!
There is never justification for domestic abuse, whether physical or verbal. He actually hit her and knocked her tooth out while she was holding their baby...which he admitted in the phone call. It's very disturbing to read these posts and find that people think "she deserved it". No one does; period. Liking him as an actor is not relevant in this situation.
Gibson's recent ravings are the rantings of a drug addict (alcohol is a drug). He needs to get professional help and get out of town. His days in the spotlight need to be over.
