Brad Pitt Is a Clean-Shaven Stud AgainAfter years as Hollywood's number one stud, Brad Pitt took an odd, bearded sabbatical for a while there. Then, a month ago, he scaled it down to mere scruff.

Now he's smooth again. Slick again. Brad again. But we digress ... the point is, he shaved!

PEOPLE reports that "Pitt shaved it all off to play Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane in the flick ['Moneyball'], which also stars Jonah Hill, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Robin Wright."

When he tamed the scraggle to scruff in June, Us Magazine clarified that although many postulated the beard was for a role, it wasn't the case -- "It's boredom. No other reason than that," Pitt said.
