"Barbara [Walters] would not allow him on the show," she says.
"Barbara's Jewish, he's an anti-Semite, he's a racist ... so he's done," Behar said, adding that the show would never grant him an opportunity to defend himself.
The tapes, of which RadarOnline.com has released three parts thus far, feature an enraged Gibson bellowing at the mother of his 8-month-old daughter, Oksana Grigorieva, relentlessly employing C-words, F-bombs and, sadly and disturbingly, racial slurs including the N-word.
"I know Mel, and I know he's not a racist," Whoopi said on 'The View' on Monday. "I have had a long friendship with Mel. You can say he's being a bonehead, but I can't sit and say that he's a racist having spent time with him in my house with my kids. I don't like what he's done, make no mistake."
Behar points out she does not agree with her co-host. "I am surprised, but that's her position, it's called 'The View.'" Behar's full interview will air July 13 on 'The Insider.'
Mel is an abuser and racist. The woman isnt a prize either. But that what happens when you stray form your morals and values. Mel you should of never left your wife for this bimbo. Get help and ask God to forgive you.

When Oksana Grigorieva started messing around with a married man, who had many children and got her self pregnant, she is very much at fault for her actions. Especially when she was involved (had a child) with another man and never married that man either. It looks like a pattern. When you chose to involve yourself with a married man and then live off his money, it only makes you look like one type of person. Especially when you do NOT support yourself nor your child on YOUR money. Women need to understand this.. only have the amount of children you by yourself without anyone else's help can support. Most women would only have one child or none at all if they would follow this rule and not expect the goverment (US taxpayers) to support them. Some women don't work and just keep on popping out them babies and collecting more and more money. SHAME on them. I have no doubt that this woman didn't get her way one day and decided to get even by pushing his buttons while he was intoxicated, knowing full well that he would (under his intoxicated state) rant and rave. There was some truth in what he ranted about..her dressing like a tramp, advertising her breast augmentation, etc., inviting trouble by the way she dressed....just like the father of a teenaged girl would do if she pulled the same stunt.
