Third Tape Released: Mel Gibson Throws Racial Slurs, Tells Ex 'I Own You'
Another day, another racist rant tape released.
RadarOnline.com has obtained a third recording of a phone call from Mel Gibson to ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva. In the latest tape, Grigorieva fights back and stands up for herself as the actor hurls more ethnic slurs. The two fight about their daughter, and he even starts calling their Latina houseworker a "wetback."
"You own me with my liver and my kidneys and my soul," Grigorieva tells Gibson, who appears to be angry to be paying for the services of a domestic employee. "You control me, like marionette ... I walk on eggshells with you."
Gibson hurls insults, yelling, "You're a f***ing mentally-deprived idiot. You're a f***ing useless whore ... I own you."
Grigorieva replies, "What did I use you for? I've given you everything I have ... I'm not a whore or thief ... Are you insane? Of course you are."
At the end of the conversation, Gibson orders his ex to "go look after my child!"
She replies, "She's my child too." Raging, Gibson screams, "Yeah I know, unfortunately you c*** whore! I hope she doesn't turn out like you!"
The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department is investigating Gibson over an alleged domestic violence incident from earlier this year involving his ex-girlfriend.
According to a news release, police have opened an inquiry into the alleged attack, which is dated Jan. 6, and are "currently gathering information regarding the allegations."

TMZ that incidents also occurred in February and that Grigorieva, who has an 8-month-old daughter named Lucia with Gibson, spoke to deputies on Monday.
The pair broke up in April after dating for a little over a year. At the time, Grigorieva was quoted as saying, "We have split up, suddenly and recently ... Unfortunately, I cannot give you the reason. But you will find out everything quite soon."
The couple made their first public appearance only a few weeks after Gibson's wife of over 30 years, Robyn, filed for divorce. Gibson has seven children from that marriage. Grigorieva has a son, Alexander, from a previous relationship with actor Timothy Dalton.

Nobody seems to realize all this coverage of Mel Gibson's bad behavior is actually glorification. The message here is simple: you'll get more attention for treating people like dirt than you will for anything else you did in your life. I hope all you tabloid journalists are satisified.

O.K. Hank, we can see where you stand and how you must treat women....disgusting! Did you maybe write the script for Mel on these phone calls? I think it was smart of his girlfriend, and so do the lawyers involved, since this kind of abuse has been occuring since January. And it's great she's got copies. She's intelligent to cover her butt because it's hard to prove abuse of any kind, now they can use it in court.
And btw, good luck finding someone to love you Hank, You sound like a pig, so go look on a farm!

She is NOT his wife. It is illegal to record a conversation w/o the other parties permission in CA. I have to agree it is smart of her to get proof of his abuse and he threatened to hit her in the head with a bat. I think with a threat of that sort, she's now safer by making this public. Do I like her, NO. Like him less and less.
It is legal in the State of California to tape conversations, sans notifying another party, in the case of domestic violence, abuse, etc. Since domestic abuse is often a case of "He said, she said" taped conversations are admissible as evidence of abuse.

Mike, no, they mentioned this on ET last night. Due to the fact that the abuse and threatening was from January, when it was first reported, the prosecution will say that she had a right to tape him without his knowledge to help her in court, as long as it has to do with the threats she reported on him.

He has been diagnosed as bi-polar. This is a life changing event (the break-up) which is what puts a bi-polar person into a tail-spin. She is pushing his buttons like an ATM machine.

How pathetic that this fame seeker has taped all of their private conversations to sell to the highest bidder. In intimate relationships we sometimes say things that we regret and unfortunately for Mel I think this is one of those times. I think this woman is a fame monger who has already had a child out of wedlock with one actor, and then thought she traded up with Mel. I am glad that Mel had the foresight to have a pre-nuptial type agreement which precludes her from getting any of his money. She is despicable and I believe this is the way she feels she can force him into settling a huge amount of money to shut her up. I hope he stands his ground and forces her to get a job,,,,,,,,,a real job.
