Bristol Palin Getting Married ... To Levi Johnston!

Perhaps the most on-again, off-again politically tinged relationship we've all had the pleasure of following has taken a new turn:
Bristol Palin, 19, and Levi Johnston, 20, are engaged again,
Us Weekly exclusively reveals.
"We got engaged two weeks ago," Bristol tells the magazine. "It felt right, even though we don't have the approval of our parents."
That's right -- Sarah Palin doesn't approve. But the couple says they reconnected three months ago, while hashing out the custody details for their 18-month-old son, Tripp. Bristol and Levi were engaged once before, but called it off just weeks before she gave birth.
"I really thought we were over," Levi tells Us Weekly. "So when I went, I had no hope. I think we both just started talking -- and then we took Tripp for a walk."
Bristol finishes the tale: "When he left that night, we didn't hug or kiss, but I was thinking how different it was. He texted me: 'I miss you. I love you. I want to be with you again' ... I was in shock."
The lovers have often seemed permanently star-crossed -- even long into their separation, they habitually referenced each other on talk shows and in magazine profiles.
And though they've run circles around each other -- and been bound by a son together -- Palin and Johnston have faced adversity, both from outside and from each other. Bristol sought some of Levi's paycheck for his
Playgirl photo spread; Levi told
GQ Bristol's father Todd offered to buy her a new car if she dumped Levi.
Bristol said in January one of her lowest moments came after the big split from Levi: "I was just rocking Tripp to sleep because he had been screaming for so long. I was just like, 'What am I going to do? This is as bad as it gets,'" she
told In Touch.
Now things are looking solid for the couple, though Bristol says it's "intimidating and scary" waiting for her mother's reaction. "Hopefully she will jump on board."

Why Not !!! they have milked this for all they can get, big bucks were put in their pockets, I think this was a master marketing plan from day one.......their personal reallity show....just how many millions have they pocketed, the general public is really stupid to follow this stupid soap opera, but then that is why the agents get paid the big bucks, anybody want to try and figure out just what they raked in ????

I hope they do make it. If they really love each other, they should be together regardless of what the parents do or say. After all, they're not marrying their parents. My Mother tried in every way to break up my engagement, and I made up my mind I was going to marry my husband. Everyone said it wouldn't work. Well, here it is 43 years later and more in love then when we first met. It was the best decision I made to follow my heart.

Well he is a hunk and I'm sure they well soon have another baby on the way. And that story well bring in loads money. They should be far better off then most teens. Good luck to them both stay away from mother and enjoy your life. It's your kid not mothers so work together and things well work out.

I agree that is was Sara who got involved in the trash talk. At some point Sara has to let her daughter make her own decisions weather she agrees or not. I understand Sara's point...Bristol is the oldest child and it is hard to let them go, you still want to be the main person in their life. Believe me it hurts when your oldest child finds someone else they want to add to their life. So leave them alone, if it doesn't work oh well. There are worse things that could have been done!!!

I see a lovely ceremony at the Moose lodge with the bridesmaids all wearing matching ankle bracelets and the groomsmen will all hold their hockey sticks up for the couple to walk under.
And then they will honeymoon across the street in Russia.

Dont forget the wolf entree's and moose appetisers that 'mama grizzly' killed herself...From a safe distance ofcourse
People continue to be obsessed with the Palin family even though
Sarah lost the election. What people really need to ask themselves is 1)Why do you harbor such hatred of this family, and 2) Why do you continue to be obsessed with the Palins?

What actors, golfers, politicians, etc do or don't do in their personal lives has nothing to do with their professional lives. He has made some terrific movies (loved Apocalypto) and frankly, I could care less what sort of husband/father/partner he is. Same goes for Tiger, Edwards and the others.

I really hope for the baby's sake they can work it out, and that it's not just a publicity stunt, but that's probably not the case. I think I'd have a bit more sympathy for them if they weren't selling their own story to the media.

Ahhhh, why can't we "all-knowing and wise public" just leave these (young) people alone? We will never know ALL of the reasons for this reunion, because none of us really knows these two young people...let's be honest! Can't we merely "take the high road," hope for the best and wish them well, even if only for the sake of an innocent little child named Tripp?

Many people in America have idolized celebrities. Not everything they do is right, though. People should choose wisely before acting on their decision.
