Carrie Underwood's Fairy Tale Wedding

Country crooner Carrie Underwood is officially off the market, following her weekend wedding to Ottawa Senators hockey player Mike Fisher. PEOPLE reports that the 'American Idol' winner wed Fisher at the Ritz Carlton in Greensboro, Georgia, on July 10.

Fisher and Underwood, who began dating in 2008, tied the knot in front of 250 family members and guests, including Garth Brooks, Faith Hill and 'Idol' judges Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell.

The bride, who wore a "huge" Chantilly lace and silk organza gown by designer Monique Lhuillier, changed quickly into a cocktail dress following the ceremony, explaining, "I wanted to get my boogie on."

Underwood was accompanied down the aisle by her rat terrier, Ace, who sported a Swarovski-studded pink tuxedo.

"Mike was like, 'He's in pink! What are you doing?'" Carrie says, "But he looked so handsome."

According to EOnline.com, the tiara Carrie wore -- a gift from the groom -- was more than 40 carats of diamonds.

Guests found their table assignments on hockey pucks, and were treated to a four-course dinner, including sushi, risotto lollipops and a wedding cake made entirely of cupcakes.

The ballroom was also bathed in pink. "There was pink lighting and pink things hanging from the ceiling, flower balls and ribbon and sparkles," Carrie describes.

In a statement issued by the couple regarding their nuptials, they exclaimed, "We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!"

The 27-year-old singer and 30-year-old hockey player got engaged last December.

These two people don't live in the real world. It's not just the amount of money they spent on their wedding, but they rubbed it in everyone's face. A half million dollars could have filled a lot of food banks in my home state. A lot of people in The US are having really hard times -- and she has her dog decorated in expensive crystals? Gimme a break.

I think the same thing...he sure doesn't seem real happy...but if you look at the guys face...he looks like a steroid user...that bulky forhead and all...he's not very good looking...but something is up

i agree with the.."maybe they're just tired of being followed around", i really hope carrie doesn't divorce, she's such a sweetheart and doesn't deserve to go through that. i have faith that they'll be very happy together for a long time!

Don't worry about what you think he is or is not doing in these pictures.. He worships the ground she walks on .And they have gone together for a long time and know each other well . The only thing I would have done differntly . They took some family members and a couple of friends with them to Bora Bora . I think a honeymoon should be just the bride and groom .. .But that's the way they wanted it .

Does anyone understand camera angle? They are pretty much side by side, it is the camera angle that makes it look like he is in front. And did any of you look any futher then the first few pictures? Look at the pictures in the 30's. Carrie in in front in all of them. Not sure, does that mean that she is controling now? Wake up people, leave them alone for just a little while. Their lives are under a microscope all the time. Give them some space at least for the honeymoon. I wish them the best in life and the best in love.

I've followed her from day one on Idol and hence her career I think she
knows what's right for her. He's a nice looking dude and she is really beautiful Simon knew right away she was star material. I wish them both the best.

Honestly, he just looks really annoyed about the camera taking pictures of them. I would be too. She has her face covered which means she didn't want to be bothered either.

Don't be so negative, people!! Carrie is a wonderful entertainer and, by all accounts, a Christian woman. May God bless this union. Carrie would not have married a man who did not believe in the Biblical view of marriage....two people joined as one.

Carrie is the most beautiful girl on the world and she can have anybody she wants so her husband better be on his p's and q's if he doesn't want to loose her. What man wouldn't want her? She is a very sweet country girl and can make anybody happy. I wish the two a very long happy life and I hope I never see where they are having problems or getting a divorce. Divorce's are not fun. I wonder if they had a pre nup agreement or do they just put their money together like normal married people. To me, that is true love!!!
