Teresa Giudice Wants Restraining Order Against Danielle Staub

EXCLUSIVE: Tempers reached new dramatic heights during this week's episode of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey.' The episode featured hot-tempered housewife Teresa Giudice starting an argument and Ashley Holmes, daughter of housewife Jacqueline Laurita, physically attacking the ladies' sworn enemy, Danielle Staub. Although Staub's lawyer has confirmed that his client is suing, Giudice tells me Staub is the real threat.

"Believe me, if we could get a restraining order against a cast member, Danielle would have had four against her already. I never threatened her. She, however, has been on camera threatening me, stalking me and even practicing doing me harm," she reveals.

Giudice called Staub's accusation of "defamation of character" a ridiculous joke. "Don't make me laugh. I think she's defamed her own reputation all by herself," Giudice adds.

Giudice, who famously flipped a table on Staub at the end of the show's first season, did not physically attack her castmate but was shown chasing Staub while yelling insults.

So why haven't the other cast mates sued already? Apparently Bravo has tight contracts with the 'Housewives,' so the women can't sue each other, an insider tells me.

Seriously, there would be no such thing as reality TV if the cast members weren't protected from being sued by each other for what they said. After the onscreen blow-up, sources claim Staub is seeking attention and knows there is no case against Giudice. Perhaps it's just a pathetic publicity stunt by Danielle, who is just mad because her sex tape didn't sell.

Teresa can't sue but Danielle can, makes no sense.

I don't know that Danielle has a case against Teresa at all. Teresa definitely stirred the pot for sure but did not physically attack her. As far as I am concerned, Danielle is crazy but Teresa was not in the right either. Both had their parts in the drama.

You are so right about both of them. Teresa shouldn't have opened her mouth. If they would leave Danielle alone she will go away. Caroline told them to stay away from Danielle. Also, Ashley needs to stay out of Danielle's business. She is just making it worse for herself, her Mother and her Dad. If she doesn't she will probably end up in jail. Teresa and her husband need to get real jobs. They are in bankruptcy now for millions of dollars. Why are they still in that house? They need to live in a shack. Dina was right to leave the show.

The claim that Teresa and hubby are in bankruptcy is actually a false claim that Danielle leaked to the press. Read Teresa's blog it's all in there as well as the other women's. Also to the previous poster that said they need to get real jobs.....Obviously her husband is doing just fine as an entrepreneur and she is doing a pretty good job as a stay at home mother, they seem genuinely happy. I guess some are just jealous.

If Danielle doesn't leave the show soon, I will stop watching. She is total wacko. Love all the other characters. And I agree,
Danielle is just mad because her sex tape didn't sell. Who would
want to see her with cloths on, let alone without.

Teresa is in fact a 'mean girl' (not cool at all) and Danielle is crazy! But Teresa was ridiculous in chasing Danielle down, calling her names,etc. No wonder everyone laughs at Jersey Girls! No one is jealous Teresa!

this show like all the rest has scripts..???entertainment...? it is getting crazy to watch..saw a site with danielle info and someone had a pict of jarjar from starwars as her pic.. sooo funny..now that you look at two it is so spot on! i dont believe much that goes on in that show.. but gives us something to talk about!

Danielle is WACKO and Teresa is nuts. She should be more focused on making sure her daughters are not nut jobs. The kids are all over the place. As far as I can tell, Danielle's daughters are more mature than their own mother. It must have been the father that was teaching them. Danielle appears to want to be whom she is not. Teresa is not all that at all. She is as ugly as Danielle. Both need more training on how to be respectful women.
