Bristol Palin Recounts Levi's Proposal in Video

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston, who shared news of their engagement yesterday, filmed a video for Us Weekly speaking about the exciting tidings. In the clip, Bristol remembers the day Levi, 20, proposed to her:

"I came home from work one day and there were tons of flowers all over my room. There were rose petals in the shape of a heart on my bed, with a box. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him," Palin, 19, says.

Plenty romantic, yes ... but it also just felt right, she adds. "There was no hesitation at all." Watch the interview after the jump!

Us Weekly yesterday wrote the couple became engaged several weeks ago, albeit without Sarah Palin's blessing. Bristol and Levi say they reconnected three months ago, while hashing out the custody details for their 18-month-old son, Tripp. The two were engaged once before, but called it off just weeks before Palin gave birth.

"I wasn't there for Tripp and Bristol, and now I am and it feels great," Levi says in the clip. "I love 'em both very much. I've missed out on a lot of his life, and I can't get that back. Seeing him walk or crawl for the first time, or his first word ... I missed all that. More importantly, I'm here now, and I'm gonna make it right."

"It just feels right to be a family," Bristol added.

One thing is very certain. Bristol Palin has inherited her mother's fame and fortune gene and through self promotion, will never go short. Once married, she and her husband will be under media watch for the slightest crack but I bet every interview or appearance will have a price tag. The acorn has not fallen too far from the tree.

These are two children, who both need to grow up and stay away from the media. I am as tired of the Palin's as I am of the Goselins. Because both families are media wh..es.

Poor child is caught up in the momemt. This guy is a gold digger. When he realized that he had nothing going for him and she did he got on the gravy train. What a loser! He will amount to nothing and and in the end they will end up splitting again. It is just a matter of time before she see's the real truth. Hopefully she will have not married him yet.

I would like to tell Bristol Palin that we live once and we can not repeat our days. Let your heart guide you, regarless for what people may say. He may be make a misstake, but he is young like you, whitout experience in life. Forgive him for his errors and forgive yourself for yours, and try to hava a family together with your beautiful baby son. I speak to you with my heart and much love.
