Kelsey Grammer, Wife Had No Prenup

The divorce rages on for Kelsey Grammer and his third wife, Camille Donatacci Grammer, who pulled the plug on their 13-year marriage on July 1. The only snag in finalizing the separation: the couple never signed a prenup when they married, TMZ reports. Grammer was reportedly earning $1.6 million per episode by the end of 'Frasier''s 11-year run, and is thought to have a considerable fortune.

Grammer has filed court documents asking the judge to grant him sole financial interest in his television series, 'Frasier.' TMZ points out that the couple married in 1997, four years after the series launched, so his monetary earnings for the remaining seven seasons as well as residuals from syndication are up for grabs and will be considered community property.

In her divorce petition, Camille Donatacci Grammer cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, TMZ reports.

Donatacci, a 41-year-old former Playboy model and dancer, is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their children, 9-year-old daughter Mason and 6-year-old son Jude. She married the 'Frasier' actor in 1997, a year after they met at a party thrown by MTV.

It was recently reported that Donatacci has been added to the cast of Bravo's 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.' A source told the NY Daily News the couple allegedly were divided about her intention to star in the reality TV show. "He's a control freak, so he didn't like her joining the show. But this is still a surprise," the source says.

It was also reported by TMZ that the breaking point in their marriage occurred on Father's Day, when the actor allegedly didn't fly home or call his kids. However, Grammer has called that rumor "malicious."

"The truth is I did call my kids that evening," he wrote on his website, KelseyLive.com. "Frankly, I was surprised that they did not call me in the morning, but I was thousands of miles away and working that day so I didn't give it a second thought."

"Gossip and the rumor mill always thrive during times like these, as in the Father's Day story. Whatever might be said, I ask that you take the 'high road.' I intend to do the same."

Not a shred of sympathy for me. Kelsey Grammer has had plenty of good luck in his life. He should shut his trap, pay the lady what she deserves and go back in his hole. He's not even a good actor. I laugh at you people that like him. Is he good butties with David Ogden Stiers?

Why are these women sooo surprised when their rich husbands want to control them? MOST - not all, but most rich men see everything they want as a 'possession' which includes whatever woman he wants. He bids on it by wining and dining her, he will spend whatever amount of money it takes to obtain her, and then, once he gets her, he wants to proudly show her off for a while but then it gets boring so he just locks her up with all the other possessions he has. Hello? Women are human beings! The problem is, these women ALLOW this to happen and it involves the same thing that it took to get them: MONEY.
