Lindsay Lohan Moves Into Sober-Living Facility

Lindsay Lohan, who was recently sentenced to a 90-day jail term by a Beverly Hills judge, has checked herself into Pickford Lofts, a Los Angeles sober-living facility. PEOPLE reports that the actress, who is scheduled to begin serving her sentence next Tuesday, entered the facility, founded by former O.J. Simpson defense lawyer Robert Shapiro, on Wednesday of this week.

Shapiro has been active in the addiction community since his son Brent died of a drug overdose in 2005. He started The Brent Shapiro Foundation to promote alcohol and drug education and help individuals struggling with addiction get help.

Lohan, who was sentenced to jail for violating probation related to a DUI arrest, was reportedly visited the night before her arrival at Pickford by ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

Is this Lindsay's way of trying to stay out of jail? She's got a problem with authority. She get to enroll in rehab after she serves her sentence, so why is she doing it now?

She needs to go straight JAIL!!! Not givin any type of special treatment... Look I had a drinking problem when I was younger. I got no special treatment... She is a human so all rules apply? UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY OF CORSE!!! All of this is BS!!!

I agree that the timing is off. Her attorney is going to claim she's unavailable to go to jail because she's seeking treatment. Hopefully the judge throws both Lindsay AND her attorney in jail for contempt.

This won't work for her, she needs a rehab 1st, and some real one on one w/ a clinical staff.
I wish her luck but, just sober living means simply that she will not accept that she has a real problem.

I agree w/you. She thinks by going into rehab she won't have to go to Jail. WRONG!!! She breaks the law over how many times & still thinks she won't go to jail. Think about it!! Its about time She goes to jail, serve her time, then go into rehab. Lets see if it works. YA right.

you honestly think that if she goes to Jail and later does her Rehab that she will learn a dam thing from the experience be sober for rest of her life. WRONG!!!

some people don't learn a dam thing at all. doesn't matter if your a Hollywood star or a average normal every day person who has a drinking problem.

I have a younger brother who during his teens and as an adult who does have a drinking problem...has been over the years in car accidents in the hospital spitting up blood, all most died, has been in Jail several times ect ect and Still hasn't learned a dam thing. and he still drinks all the time.

and hasn't changed his ways and stoped drinking. so not everyone learns a leason and straightens there life up.

I hope Shapiro is planning on helping her as opposed to trying to keep her out of jail. If she is not held accountable as any one would be then its time to do away with the system and make the field level for all players. The law should be applied evenly to all people. To (get her out of this) will not help her and sets a very bad example.
