Lindsay Lohan Moves Into Sober-Living Facility

Lindsay Lohan, who was recently sentenced to a 90-day jail term by a Beverly Hills judge, has checked herself into Pickford Lofts, a Los Angeles sober-living facility. PEOPLE reports that the actress, who is scheduled to begin serving her sentence next Tuesday, entered the facility, founded by former O.J. Simpson defense lawyer Robert Shapiro, on Wednesday of this week.

Shapiro has been active in the addiction community since his son Brent died of a drug overdose in 2005. He started The Brent Shapiro Foundation to promote alcohol and drug education and help individuals struggling with addiction get help.

Lohan, who was sentenced to jail for violating probation related to a DUI arrest, was reportedly visited the night before her arrival at Pickford by ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

California justice system is far different than the rest of this country. It's Hollywood justice if you happen to be a celeb. As for Lohan she's playing a game that can turn on her big time. The court should make a example of her, let her see the real life
behind bars. Some of those seasoned female detainees will give her a real life experience, and it will not be Hollywood.

Who cares? I certainly don't, and would be interested in knowing who or why anyone else would care about what she does.

How about allowing the rest of us to have a little rehab...no more Lindsay for 90 days (at least).

No kidding. If the general public can see through her ploy to avoid going to jail, how does her lawyer expect the judge to fall for this? The government needs to get her off the streets before she murders people with her foolishness.

It may be the first right move for her since being cast for Mean Girls.
She was sentance to both Jail and Rehab. After being in Rehab she might wish she went to jail.
Who knows maybe some maturity may happen.

I recently read a Rolling Stone interview with Robert Downey Jr. He mentioned that his "stints" in rehab prior to incarceration did little good and said, "jail saved my life." As far as Lohan imagining involvement at a sober living facility will keep her out of jail, I doubt it will. She's tried to buck the system too many times and her current judge has her number. I bet odds she will be off to jail next Tuesday.

I just knew that this would happen. She should get another 90 days for contempt of court. It was jail and then rehab, not the other way around. I think 180 days in jail should keep her mug off the internet and teach her some respect for the law!!

Good try, The problem is, the judge sentenced her to 90 days in jail, AND 90 days in rehab. Thus, she'll still do the jail time. If not at the jail next Tuesday, she will be picked up and delivered to jail by the Deputies.

Lindsay Lohan deserves to go to jail. SHE BROKE THE LAW! She is no better than anyone else. Rehab is a joke for this spoiled BRAT! I hope this judgesees that justice prevails.

Sober living is NOT rehab! That is where you go AFTER rehab. She needs to GO TO JAIL! She is NO BETTER than anyone else.
