Penelope Cruz Is Not Pregnant, Rep Says

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem may have kept their recent nuptials a closely-guarded secret, but it's not because the actress is expecting.

Despite tabloid reports that Cruz is pregnant, her rep has publicly denied the claims to EOnline.com

The actress, who is currently filming 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,' the fourth installment in the blockbuster franchise, wed Bardem at a friend's home in the Bahamas in a private ceremony.

A source told E! of the film, "It's not exactly the kind of movie you want to be doing if you're pregnant."

The couple, who starred as former lovers in Woody Allen's 2008 film 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona,' began their relationship in 2007 after fifteen years of friendship.

For the record, I care and so do thousands of others worldwide. I've always enjoyed Penelope's work as an actress, she is a wonderful person. Her new husband is a high caliber actor as well. You must not see any really good films or you would know of both of these "mega talented" and "world renowned" actors.

Neither of these people appear to live in the fast lane. They were friends for a long time and then had a quiet private wedding out of the eyes of the media. It may sound dull to celebrity watchers seeking a show, but it looks pretty safe and sane to me. Of course, there are no guarantees, particularly among career oriented and talented performers.....but as celebrities go, these look like pretty reasonable adults off to a good start.
