Lindsay Lohan has a new lawyer in her corner--and it's an attorney with a pretty solid track record in Hollywood. Robert Shapiro, who successfully defended O.J. Simpson in his murder trial, will be representing Lohan, PEOPLE reports.

"I have agreed to represent Ms. Lohan on the condition that she complies with all of the terms of her probation, including a requirement of jail time that was imposed by Judge Marsha Revel," Shapiro said in a statement.

He also is the man who founded Pickford Lofts, the sober living house the actress checked into on Wednesday and where she's been since. Shapiro opened the sober house after his son, Brent, died of a drug overdose in 2005. Both Lohan's mom, Dina, and her ex-girlfriend, Samantha Ronson, have been photographed visiting her there.
