Lindsay Lohan has a new lawyer in her corner--and it's an attorney with a pretty solid track record in Hollywood. Robert Shapiro, who successfully defended O.J. Simpson in his murder trial, will be representing Lohan, PEOPLE reports."I have agreed to represent Ms. Lohan on the condition that she complies with all of the terms of her probation, including a requirement of jail time that was imposed by Judge Marsha Revel," Shapiro said in a statement.
He also is the man who founded Pickford Lofts, the sober living house the actress checked into on Wednesday and where she's been since. Shapiro opened the sober house after his son, Brent, died of a drug overdose in 2005. Both Lohan's mom, Dina, and her ex-girlfriend, Samantha Ronson, have been photographed visiting her there.

Shapiro will no doubt confuse and twist words in an attempt to save this brat from jail. Is he doing this pro bono as she claims to be broke? She is a walking waste of space!

put the little biatch behind bars, she is nothing special. The abuser will kill herself playing with coke if she doesn't get locked up. so Shapiro should NOT even try to get her off. The JUDGE seems to kinow what she is doing. And while they are at it, put that no good fricken mother of hers into a cell down the hallway, she is an enabler as no other, the biatch has a drug problem as big as the daughter. Say what you will, at the moment the father is the sane one in the bunch, at least he wants to safe the crazy drugging biatch he has for a daughter.

Well tuesday is the day she is suppose to go to jail . We will see if she does . But I will bet you even if she does she will spend less than a week there. Then she will go to rehab. And when she gets out of rehab she will take up right where she left off .

Child actors grow up thinking everything is play acting and nothing is real. When faced with jail or something bad-they find it hard to understand if not impossable. It's reality that they've never known or had to face and is truely scary when they finally have to face it. She needs a lot of help and I pray she will be able to get it. I understand why he wants her to do some time...it's so she never strays again...so she sees what rel life it like and not just another story that other story people are living. She's never been taught reality...that's the real problem.

This young woman should be taught that just because she has been in a number of movies, that does not give her the right to break laws set for her, and show up and take the sentence she has been given. After those few days in jail, she then has 3 months in a REAL RAHAB center, not a party place. She most deginitely need those 3 months in a notable Rehab center.
