Did Oksana Try Bribing Mel Gibson of Millions?

TMZ is reporting sources have "hard proof" Oksana Grigorieva used tapes of Mel Gibson's explosive rants to attempt to extort him of more than $10 million. In return, she allegedly would have kept the tapes under wraps.

"The sources say there are e-mails and other 'physical evidence' to prove it. As one source said, 'There's a long trail of evidence,' " TMZ writes.

With a legal investigation set to be launched against Gibson, these allegations could turn the fiasco into a messy two-way street -- claims of domestic violence against Gibson, claims of extortion against Grigorieva.

Gibson's estranged wife Robyn spoke out yesterday, defending the 54-year-old actor against allegations that he hit ex-girlfriend and baby mama Grigorieva.

"Mel never engaged in any physical abuse of any kind toward me before, during or after our marriage," Robyn Gibson said in a declaration to a Los Angeles judge overseeing the custody battle between Gibson and Grigorieva, TMZ reported. "Mel was a wonderful and loving father."

"Robyn felt she needed to speak out to protect her children and family," a source close to her told PEOPLE. "Robyn's tried to stay out of this, but she wanted to make sure there was no speculation of what happened within her family."

Gibson began dating Grigorieva just a few weeks after his ex-wife of over 30 years filed for divorce.

If I was the mother of his child and was spoken to like that, I would 'sell' him the tapes too. Have you heard the tapes? No one deserves to be spoken to like that, ever. She is the mother of his child. There isn't a Christian/Civil bone in his body. Bye, Bye Douche.

Of course women should support themselves, but...these calls were on speaker phone because I suspect her hand was shaking too much to hold the receiver. If anyone ever talked to me that way, he would pay for the years of therapy I and the children would need, the physical illnesses that would no doubt result, and the full support of the child we had together. He'd pay for my career that he had taken over and then destroyed. And, while I would not want to take money from his ex-wife and other children, if he were rich, you damn well better believe he would pay so I would not be poor.

You have no idea of the impact of this type of violence.

Mel had a good wife and a ton of kids! He screwed up his marriage and his life and now #2 is making him pay the piper! Good for her. She should get the baby. After all Mel has enough mouths to feed already. She has one child... he has too many.

First, she has 2 children on by another actor that she never married,, She figured out a easy way to be rich, find a rich celebrity spread legs, have a baby, get money...

She should get child support and only that, and seeing her life prior to Mr. Gibsons was a normal lifestyle her child support should not be a huge amount either. Because we all know she is living on the childrens child support

Nothing, nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing justifies Mel's behaviour. Not even if that woman is a gold digger that berated him before making the tape. If you are extremely angry at someone, and God knows I've been, then go somewhere else until it wears off. If you don't, then you are to blame for everything stupid you do or say. Mel deserves all the scorn he's getting if only for being an idiot and not being able to control his anger.

Oksana has a sister named Natalie who lives in Russia. I wonder if she plays into any alleged extortion attempt? If so, can she be expedited from Russia as a consiprator in an extortion case? This could get extremely messy...a bomb shell...even political!

Mr. Gibson deserves to have as much privacy as any person expects, especially when having an arguement with his wife. How would every married couple in the United States like it if all of their arguements were taped and broadcast for the world to listen too?

Rumors are that Mel had been spending a great deal of time with his ex wife Robyn and that infuriated Oksana ..She even threatened and was stalking Robyn and that's when the angry phone calls began . What I don't undestand is the judge ordered all these tapes sealed by the court over a month ago ..So these leaked tapes have to be copies. There are over 40 hours of tapes and we have only heard a small part of three of them..There is so much we haven't heard .
