The-Dream Tried To Take Life Following Christina Milian Split

Earlier this week photos surfaced of The-Dream and his bikini clad assistant, Melissa Santiago, intimately frolicking in the Carribean, sparking reports that the singer had split with Christina Milian, his wife of ten months.

The-Dream, born Terius Nash, responded to the rumors, saying, "Even though we were trying to overcome personal things between us, I was just simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we WERE FAILING and HAVE NOW FAILED!"

The-Dream has publicly denied rumors of infidelity during his relationship with Milian, saying, "It's easy to say that it's because of another woman or a new relationship but truthfully, IT'S NOT". On his website, he went on to say that the he took the end of his relationship so badly saying "[I] tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming."

Nash and Milian became engaged in July, 2009, and wed in Las Vegas last September. Although Nash and Milian only confirmed their split following the release of the photos, the couple decided to end their relationship in late 2009, keeping mum about the breakup for the sake of their five-month-old daughter, Violet.

However, his ex took to her Twitter to respond to these claims, cryptically tweeting, "Whatever you think, believe it."

Ummm....he is the MULTImillionaire. SHE is lucky. Remember, he wrote Umbrella for Rihanna and has produced for many others. "Pretty" women line up all over the place for him because of his power. The saying is refering to one person asking another, "Hey man? Do you know what time it is?" In the relationships where someone cheats, I've noticed a lot of the time the realtionship was already bad. I also think that's what he meant by saying they didn't break up because of another woman. I think they were already having problems. I do however think he should have gotten out of it before he took it that far as it was very unfair to his family. I just wish both of them the best.

The Dream is not a rapper. He is an R&B artist. Rap is quite different from R&B. Before you label singer/songwriter, get the facts straight. The Dream has many successful songs he wrote before he became a singer as well. He's laughing his chubby self all the way to the bank.

i have to admit he is a successful songwriter who penned some of the biggest hits out these last few years. maybe the past decade. from beyonces to rihanna, to janet jackson to prince and madonna and more. this man has put in work. but i think hes a sorry husband. lol. so before you speak on who you dont know..maybe you should get out of your bubble.

im sure most blacks wouldnt recognize rock or heavy metal stars. that doesnt make the rockers any less famous.
