'The Situation': 'Jersey Shore' Strike Is Under Control

Let the fist pumping begin! Mike "
The Situation" Sorrentino has signed a deal for the third season of MTV's 'Jersey Shore' and believes the entire cast is right behind him. Sorrentino and MTV reached a "great new arrangement," his manager, Michael Petolino tells
PopEater in an official statement.
The cast is
rumored to all be signing new contracts Tuesday after initially asking for $30,000 per episode. (The 'Jersey' gang made $5,000 per episode during season one and $10,000 per episode for season two.)
"Mike has been packed and ready to go for days for 'Jersey Shore 3' and is excited to move forward with the shooting," his manager says.
As
TMZ first reported, the 'Shore' cast refused to shoot scenes for the upcoming season until MTV gave them better contracts. SallyAnn Salsano, executive producer of the show, told TMZ they are "committed to the show" and "ready to go."
After hearing there was a rumored strike by the cast, Sorrentino decided to lead the pack with signing a new contract and is encouraging the rest of his cast to follow his lead and return for another drama-filled season.
"The Situation has always been respected and well liked by the entire cast. He felt that he could break the stalemate by putting these rumors of a cast strike to rest by moving forward and leading the cast to another hit season," Petolino adds.

Here's a textbook example of what happens when idiots breed. There are a whole host of things that can be created in a science lab but inteligence isn't one of them. I sypathize I really do, but if your going to have tv shows for hispanics, African-Americans, over-wieght people you might as well have one for the idiots.

I am not hoping for a tsunami since I own a house about five miles from Seaside Heights. I stopped visiting the boardwalk there years ago when I kept running into characters who looked like they never ever came out in daylight.

give them three dollars and send them down the hudson on a sinking boat.

I watched the first season, didn't know there was a second, and will definitely NOT be watching season 3. I read this post only to find out how much MTV was willing to pay these clowns.

MTV needs new talent development. When your running shows about pregnant 16 year olds and Jersey Shore...your really in a very bad cycle.

Maybe this is just a show that young people watch. Somebody is watching it because they are making a 3rd season of Jersey Shore. I think a lot of you that are sneering at them actually closet watch the show, how else could you know so much about it. To the teacher that said Life isn't fair. Didn't your parents teach you this. Good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people. I'll admit I watch it. I find it entertaining. It's like your a fly on the wall just watching everything fall apart. They all say the same thing I'll never sleep with someone that isn't pretty, but all the guys will sleep with any woman that will let them. Yea I find some of the cast disgusting, but I still keep watching.
