Armed with only their grandmother's recipes and the support of their family, Sophie LaMontage and Katherine Kallinis traded their successful careers for aprons when they opened Georgetown Cupcake in 2008.

Luckily for the sisters, the bakery became an overnight sensation and now sells over 5,000 cupcakes a day to lucky sweet tooth-toting Washingtonians. The shop's success has even inspired TLC to take a behind-the-scenes look at Georgetown Cupcake with its new show 'DC Cupcakes.'

Sophie and Katherine stopped by the PopEater offices for a blind taste test and to talk about the first season of 'DC Cupcakes,' which airs Fridays at 10PM ET on TLC. Watch the video after the jump!
