Mike Sorrentino's Terrible Turtleneck Situation Photo

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino hasn't always been a juiced-up 'Jersey Shore' boy singing the praises of his GTL (gym, tanning and laundry) routine. MTV has posted an awkward Sorrentino family photo taken when Mike was just 17 -- and wearing a turtleneck to match those of his three grinning siblings. With Mike's recent pay raise (he's reportedly making $30,000 per episode for season 3 of 'Shore'), we can only hope he spends it on a few turtlenecks and some more hair gel because he and his bros are channeling *NSYNC's 'Tearin' Up My Heart' video something serious in the pic.

Before Sorrentino was hitting the Jersey Shore and showing off his six-pack abs, he was a bit of a troublemaker, as he reveals in a new episode of MTV's 'When I Was 17.'

In the episode, Sorrentino jokes about an elaborate senior prank he pulled off, detailing how he and his friends bought mice from a local pet store and let them run loose during lunch.

"At noon, it was time for everybody to let their mouses out into the lunchroom," the Situation said.

The mice ran every which way through the cafeteria, and "People were screaming," he laughed. "There was mices [sic] everywhere. It was insane. Mayhem!"

The 'Jersey Shore' crew will be back shortly for season 2 -- episodes begin airing July 29.

theres no way this guy is 17 teens are generally smarter than that not to mention he has that aging-rapper-I-wanna stay-young look and personality about him They all look too old for the type of show he describes except the little girl
