'Pretty Wild' Star Alexis Neiers, Lindsay's Neighbor in Jail, Released Way Early

Alexis Neiers, star of E!'s 'Pretty Wild, was released from a Los Angeles County jail Friday after serving just 30 days of 180-day sentence for felony burglary of
Orlando Bloom's home, sheriff's officials said.
Her neighbor at Century Regional Detention Facility this week was none other than Lindsay Lohan, who was detained just one cell over. Although Neiers was behind bars specifically for burglarizing Bloom, she was also part of crime ring that allegedly broke into Lohan's home. A watch stolen from the 'Mean Girls' actress was found at the Neiers' home.
In a statement released through her publicist Friday, Neiers said she "did a lot of soul searching" during her time behind bars. "I feel very humbled and see my life in a way that I have come to be very grateful for and I am also grateful to everyone who has helped and supported me through this," the statement said.
In California, nonviolent female inmates generally serve about 25 percent of their sentence, principally because of overcrowding in the jail system. If that is the standard, then Neiers should have been expected to serve out 45 days of her 180-day sentence.
Neiers is one of six people accused of targeting the homes of celebrities -- including those of Megan Fox, Paris Hilton and Lohan -- and stealing millions in jewelry, clothing and other luxury items. The group has been dubbed the "Burglar Bunch" by some, and the "Bling Ring" by others.
Neiers
agreed to a plea bargain in May shortly before her trial was to begin. Her lawyer, Jeffery Rubenstein, said at the time that it was in her best interest to avoid a trial and a possible hefty sentence -- a felony burglary count could have netted her up to six years in prison -- if convicted.
"After lengthy consideration and fighting the best pretrial fight we could, we decided it was in Alexis' best interest to take responsibility for her small part in this incident and do a little bit of county jail time instead of a lengthy state prison sentence if convicted."
Bloom, star of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'Lord of the Rings' films, had been expected to testify at the trial.

Why bother even giving these people sentences if they're just going to get out after 10 days and they're always kept from the rest of the prisoners. It means nothing to them because they know they will get out early. "Normal" people would have to spend the entire sentence in jail. What a crock of bull.

Continue to let these idiots go before they serve their time is asking for trouble. Not for them, I don't give a crap. Next DUI for Lohan could cause a death or deaths of innoncent people. This is the reason I tried to get out of jury duty. Our justice system sucks. Way to lenient!

What a stupid little be-ache. Ugly on top of it. She'll be back in prison before long-- the little thief hasn't learned her lesson

it's hard to believe the news coverage being given to a spoiled 20-something year old celebrity. Here are a few 20 year-olds worth knowing about: Justin Allen, 23; Brett Linley, 29; Matt Weikert, 29; Justus Bartett, 27; Dave Santos, 21; Chase Stanley, 21; Jesse Reed, 26; Matthew King, 23; Christop...her ...Goeke, 23; Sheldon Tate; 27. These 20-something soldiers gave their lives for you this week.

Mike, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! Maybe, at some point, people will pay attention.
That girl in the cell beside Lindsay should not have gotten out early..that "B" felt that stealing is a good way of getting what she was to dam lazy to work for, or just because the items belonged to a public figure she wanted it ONLY for that reason...talk about being screwed up in the head. But LL should finish her time in jail and perhaps a head doctor will council her.

She'll be back in jail before her new nail polish dries! She's a loser, as is Lohan who will most likely be back in jail before her so-called probation is over. BIG TIME LOSERS. Neither realizes that their 15 minutes of fame is nothing more then a glory hole of quicksand. They loved every minute of their "fame" (gag). The world owes brats like this a living..or so they think. They think, as do most of the kids in hollywood, that they are above the law and the sobsister judges who give them these itty bitty sentences believe it too.. LOL.. how laughable. No wonder California is sinking into the ocean. Can't happen fast enough for "normal" people.. LOLOL

And people wonder why California has so many problems today. For starters, criminals get sentenced for their crimes, then they let them out after serving a fraction of their time. What kind of message does this send out?

I've only seen clips of "Pretty Wild", and based on that, I don't think I could stomach the show. The whole family is a bunch of whiney, self-absorbed, self-important morons who have done nothing to deserve the attention they are getting. But, so it is these days. People are rewarded for their bad behavior by getting reality shows, magazine covers, publicity for their stupid acts, and an overall "Way to go!" for their inappropriate, stupid, criminal behavior. Our society is going down the tubes, and E!, TLC, and other networks are paying big bucks air it on TV.

wow she was taught to never steal again huh. I would be doing 10-20 but she got a whopping 180 days and did a whole 30. Like the saying goes money talks...No wonder all these celebrities are pathetic creatures, no one holds them responsible for their actions. Not only do they need protection from their self destructive ways but also from a court system that could care less to help them because others need them to make them rich.

What is wrong with this country. If the jails are so crowded, do something about it. NOT BY REDUCING SOMEONES SENTENCE. If they have to expand or build another jail, then DO IT!!!!!!!! What a ridiculous excuse for letting these people serve so little time for their crimes.

No wonder nothing ever changes with all the stars - if it were ordinary folk would we be released early for a burglary charge - what is wrong with this picture - and excuse me, what about the victim? Too many "slaps on the wrist" and not enough "rehab" or penalizing for the perps - If they did the crime, they should do the time - and 6 months is hardly a sentence - As for Lindsay, she too should serve the time and maybe next time she might think twice about endangering you and me with her drunk driving - Wake up people, she could have killed someone. I have no sympathy for people who drink and drive - and then when give a chance to be on probation - they flaunt themselves and whine about "poor me". They made the decision to break the law, no one held a gun to their head - and they knew it was wrong but didn't care. M.A.D.D. should be up in arms about this.
