By PopEater / Wire Services Posted Jul 26th 2010 08:50AM
ABC's 'The View' has welcomed many notable guests, but none more prominent than President Barack Obama, who is scheduled to visit for Thursday's edition. In making the announcement on Monday, executive producers Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie said this marks the first time a sitting U.S. president has visited a daytime talk show.

Just what is Joy Behar's talent?? Does she have any? She's not attractive...as a matter of fact, she's rather ugly. Her voice sounds like finger nails across a chalkboard and she makes statements that would make a moron sound like a jeapordy champion. Is that the TV land strategy now, to entertain by making the viewer want to throw up watching people like Behar?

That is toooo funny!!!
you have it right.

You need to stop drinking the kool aid. Even the bloggers on black voices do not like what he has done to this country.

You are so full of crap...it sounds like sour grapes because he won the election..get over yourself.
@TC..It is time you stop blaming Bush and Chaney. They haven't been in office for over a year and a half now. Since they are gone we are in worse shape then we were. Obama now needs to take the blame and do something other then spend his time on a daytime talk show.
I could careless if the president is black, white, yellow, red, green or purple. I want a President who is going to do right by our country and work for me. Obama is not doing that.
I will not be watching the View.

...ask not what your country can do for YOU, ask what you can do for your country!
It is not all about YOU, get over yourself!
This president has time to go on the View. It is ran by a bunch of old catty women. Their opinion doesn't matter at all. Look who they have as guests. It seems to me he has more important things to take care of like jobs for instance. I will be so glad when we can vote him out. A one term president. That is what I see for this guy
Why shouldn't Bush and Cheney still be blamed. Ronald Reagan blamed everything he "inherited" on Jimmy Carter his entire first term, and didn't stop saying it until his re-election in '84.....
Obama has not given a press conference, where he took questions, for more than a year.
This is another way for him to go on TV and lecture all of us without being forced to defend his horrible policies or the bad economy. The questions they do ask, in between drooling over him, will be the biggest softballs ever.
If Elizabeth asks him even one hard question, Joy and Baba will pull her hair out!
Even the name of the show is offensive....Are all women so stupid that we all share one VIEW of life?

Bush only gave speeches in front of 'friendly' audiences, like Military Bases. He had shoes thrown at him, and had to have crowds two blocks away for hi s safety,,,,,, he was so 'liked'!

Why the "Phew"? did Winfrey finally see what a loser she helped get elected? Barbara's last favorite was when she helped get Andrew Jackson elected.

love it
As much as I liked the policies of President Bush, I never lowered myself to such disrespectful, ugly tones as those against President Obama. Where is the respect for his office if not for him? Historically, we have expressed our disagreements at the election booth, not with outrageous rhetoric and condemnation on a personal level. Remember who you are, Americans, and show some respect for the office of the President.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. And in so doing this they will also show some respect for themselves.
sdrobbins -
I will be happy to be respectful of President Barack Hussein Obama when he starts showing RESPECT FOR THIS COUNTRY and the AMERICAN PEOPLE. The last straw for me was when he had nothing to say about the president of Mexico trashing our country.
President Barack Hussein Obama seems to forget that HE WORKS for US - the American People - not the other way around. I can hardly wait for 2012 and saying BYE-BYE to him.
Dear sdrobbins,
Your quote "As much as I LIKED the policies of President Bush, I never lowered myself to such disrespectful, ugly tones as those against President Obama. Where is the respect for his office if not for him?"@@@ I believe you meant "disliked", otherwise you're going to be inundated by a barage of posters and maybe even the CIA will check up on you, because, after all, aren't we all supposed to HATE Bush?? As far as the Office of the President is concerned, I do respect it, however, I think the President should respect it also.
This will be the Daytime TV version of "Dumb and Dumber." The so-called President will do what he does best - ignore reality and make excuses for his poor perforance - and blame long-gone Republicans for his own mistakes. Behar will swoon, Walters will toss him softballs and Whoopie will avoid eye contact and make jokes. My guess is that a soon-to-be-guest will be Geithner, easily the dumbest Secretary of the Treasury this country has ever seen, followed by Jimmy Carter, the only President worse than the current one.
