Barack Obama Is Returning to 'The View'

ABC's 'The View' has welcomed many notable guests, but none more prominent than President Barack Obama, who is scheduled to visit for Thursday's edition. In making the announcement on Monday, executive producers Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie said this marks the first time a sitting U.S. president has visited a daytime talk show.

Obama is the first president to take full advantage of all the high tech options available today, whether using the internet or television. I will give him high marks for pandering to the young and inexperienced. It is better to impress this segment of our country now, rather than let them discover Obama's many and significiant weaknesses. Never in the history of the United States has a president talked so much and delivered so little.

I must be losing my mind, AOL has acually allowed people to write against the president and not kiss his butt.

This is a first, I guess they are tired of losing people to other networks.

But I did notice that a person can use the rachist remark against people, but If the word was used about Obama it would not be used.

Thanks AOL, its about time you get the message of the right of dissent.

Betty, the race card is the favorite tool of the right. Ever listen to Russ Limbaugh...he mentions race even during sporting events, like for instance; the only reason McNabb of the Eagles was successful was because he was Black. When Obama ran for office, Limbaugh again played the card; The only reason people voted for him was because he was Black. Glen Beck says; Hey, the predident has a problem with white people. Check all the conservative personalities on FOX, they all bring up the race card constantly....is there some agenda behind it?

It will be good for President Obama to get back to the view. There he can be asked tough questions like why 30,000 troops after 4 months instead of 40,000? or why did you say there wouldn't be any federally funded abortions when you knew full well that it would be a state by state decision? Or..... besides walking "Bo" and watering the WhiteHouse garden, what does Joe Biden actually do???
