Eric Roberts moved into Dr. Drew Pinsky's Pasadena Recovery Center last week for a crippling addiction to prescription marijuana, his wife has revealed.The 'Pope of Greenwich Village' actor has been off hard drugs and alcohol for 15 years, Eliza Roberts tells E! News. "He has no interest in anything, other than marijuana."
Roberts has anxiety issues, so he turned to doctor-prescribed weed for relief after traditional medication did not agree with his body. He had no such issue with the marijuana. "However, a dependency is a dependency and he doesn't want to be dependent on it anymore."

Exactly right. Pot is not addictive. I smell the renwal of that old argument by govt, officials that pot is a gateway drug, and now they have Roberts to hold up as their so-called proof.
I think that you are correct that pot is not addictive physically, however, some ppl have very addictive personalities, thus they get mentally addicted easily to things, they crave it. I get hooked on energy drinks, coffee, whatever, and i have to be careful. Might sound dumb, but it's true, and i'm not the only one by far.
PS-I thought i should mention that i am pro-legalization of pot, i understand that it's my addictive personality that is the problem, not the pot. I think they should legalize and get on with the real problems out there!
Marijuana for anxiety issues? There are many drugs he can take for anxiety and they all have side effects for him? I don't believe it.

I'm somewhat confused about the "cast" thing. Is he in a rehab center to get well or is this a show thing? His roommate, Jeremy London, says the "cast" is great. Maybe I'm missing something. I expect one of you really "smart" people to set set me straight. :)
