Summer Means a New Haircut for 'Avengers' Star Scarlett Johansson

The film fans may have been talking about Scarlett Johansson's appearance at Comic-Con because of her film projects. StyleList was talking about it because of her new haircut.

The 25-year-old actress debuted a new bob haircut this weekend when she appeared on 'The Avengers' panel at Comic-Con. Shoulder-length and layered with a slight wave, Johansson fashioned her locks in a carefree, bedhead style that looked hip and sexy.

Back in May, Johansson created a splash with her black catsuit-clad attire and curly red hair in 'Iron Man 2.' She then went back to her blonde roots to appear on the cover of V Magazine with sexy lingerie shots inside. InStyle also featured her on May's cover, but with ringlet-like curls. And most recently, working as the alluring model for international retailer Mango, Johansson wore a '70s-inspired 'do with long auburn-colored locks.

Out of all these looks, we are perhaps partial to her newest haircut -- which is especially provocative when paired with black crop, tuxedo blazer, black bustier and black slacks all by Dolce & Gabbana.

'The Avengers' wild cast announcements included Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / Incredible Hulk and Joss Whedon directing.

I have long, long hair, and I think woman look more flattering with longer hair. I will never have short hair again, I know long hair is not everyones style, but it's mine for life. I liked her better with longer hair.

Women over 40 start to show their age more so when they were their hair below their shoulders.

It looks like they are trying to stay young and it doesn't work.

Even someone who is tall and slender needs to keep their length between the jaw line and their shoulder.

Its a fact, taught in cosmetology school. Very few women can wear their hair long and let it hang down and the few that do keep long hair, usually wear it in some sort of up-do style.

Looks like someone cut it with a pair of dull scissors! It looks crooked along the edges and the ends should have been blended in.
