Lindsay Lohan will leave her jail cell in less than a week, and she's looking to score some family time before she starts her mandatory three-month rehab."She's a little upset right now," attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said after a visit with Lohan on Tuesday, PEOPLE reports. "She'd like to spend some time with her family, and there's at least some question as to whether or not she'll have to go directly to rehab."
Prosecutors said Tuesday that LiLo must report to a Los Angeles rehab facility within 24 hours of her release from jail, which should be this Sunday or Monday. Chapman is worried that Lohan may have to go directly to rehab with no interim.

I think that they went too easy on Lindsay. She will never learn her lesson this way.

Amen, if it were any other person, we would be in for a full 90 days, then rehab with no chance of family reunions.......She is just a fine example of the "haves and havenots" system in this country
Lindsey needs to get grateful. She is not spending the sentence of 90 days in jail and is lucky enough to be alive so that she can go to rehab; and lucky enough that she did not kill anyone so that she would have to spend the rest of her life in jail. She will never learn unless she has gratitude for what she has, and how lenient her sentence is. She should go straight to rehab and appreciate the opportunity she has been given to get her life back in order.

Ok, Explain to me how it is that she is getting all this special treatment. She could have killed herself or someone else for God sakes. What is wrong with the judicial system? If a poor person did it he or she would be up the creek. She is never going to learn and SOMEONE will lose her or his life because she will not and didn't learn a lesson. The one she learned is she can manipulate the system. I have and will never have faith in our so call judial system. It needs a serious work up.

Just let this no talent waste of space visit her fame sucking family. Rehab will do her no good since she believes she is entitled to anything she wishes. What a shame.

I think it is pretty disgusting how easy the court system went on Lindsay. Any one else (unless they are Hollywood or Rich) would have served more time in jail. Nor would they be able to give demands on the system. I guess that is the double standard! Lindsay should thank her lucky stars she didn't have to serve the entire 90 days and keep her snotty little trap shut for once!

This is a fact that people who talk other people down, it is to make themselves feel better about the terrible life that they themselves are living. Myself I choose the high road . Try it sometime its great!

Way too much press coverage on this woman. I seriously doubt her jail time meant anything to her other than a minor inconvenience in her life. She is spoiled, rotten and will eventually kill herself or someone else unless she realizes the trouble she is in and has caused so many people. Giving her the star treatment has NOT helped. Send her directly to s boot camp rehab, not one of the cushy ones and see what she is made of!

Releasing Lindsey in such a short time is detrimental to her well being. She needs to take responsibility for all the wrongs she has done. Something needs to wake this girl up and soon. She demanded and got special treatment even though the warden said she wasn't. Now she wants to see her family before rehab -- what's the point in that? Is that going to make her "all better"? NO because she thinks she is totally innocent and her parents should take the reins and lead her to a better life! Regardless of her Dad's past, he has tried to get her into treatment for way too long. Why no one in the court system thinks she should be treated like we would be is beyond reason!

What the hell is so special about Lohan?? She is jsut another
person who has the misguided thinking that she is some gift to the world and can do as she sees fit to satisfy her petti ego.
Its this same problem with most of the Hollywood crowd. They play make beleive and try ands transfer the part to their
individual lives. "It won't play !"

Lohan's atty isn't making any requests out of the ordinary. The difference is the media is reporting it. I work in the legal field. Plenty of DUI offenders get multiple chances. Not just the rich. Pay attention and you'll see.
That said, I'm fine with her going directly to jail then rehab. This also happens to people.

Let her get her hair done and see her family then send her to rehab. Why does everything have to be a dramatic event?

You're all a bunch of losers! Why do you even care about Lindsey Lohan. I'ld suggest getting a life!

Why is is that Lindsay will be released early because of overcrowding? Let her stay in an overcrowded jail! WHy is it that everyday citizens can spend time in overcrowded jails, but once you have money, it's ok to be out quickly. Lindsay will NEVER learn any life lessons if she is continuosly getting special treatment. I wish the judge would be able to let her serve her full 90 days. ANd, what this that she wants family time before she goes to rehab- give me a break!!

I feel sorry for this girl - she is pretty and talented and has a horrible family. Wishing her a lot of luck in getting back on her feet..

Lilo knows herself what she is. Except rehab she has no other
way to get back the reputable life. People love the young famous
movie star. She should understand she needs to love the people.
The shining star or the fallen star will depend on her. So far
she does not teach anything to us.

I would be worried that her family will give her the drugs she is addicted to. Or, if she really is bipolar, that she might hurt herself. Hold her breath until she turns blue or worse..straight to rehab, no time off. Not even 15 minutes.
