In the clearest sign yet that Lindsay Lohan will get out of jail this week, several top stylists as well as hair and makeup people that Lindsay loves in Los Angeles have been put on call from midnight on Thursday through the entire weekend.
"I am sure Lindsay will be sick of orange and jumpsuits and I definitely think ankle bracelets are out," Phillip Bloch, celebrity stylist and author of 'The Shopping Diet,' tells me. "Knowing Lindsay, I expect her to emerge in some skin tight jeans and some uber-trendy layered top. If I had the opportunity to dress her [Philip dressed Halle Berry when she accepted her Oscar] when she exits jail, I would put her in a soft and flowy sundress a la Natalie Wood. It wouldn't be bad to soften up her image at this point."
Rob Talks Lindsay and More Hot Gossip on 'Wendy Williams'
Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, told the LA Times this week that Lohan's earliest release date would likely be Sunday, Aug. 1. (The actress turned herself in on July 20 and was originally sentenced to 90 days.)
But make no mistake, Lindsay knows very well that the 30-second walk from the jail to her waiting car will be photographed and seen around the world. This is why she is determined to look her best. Which might be easier said than done.

A corrections officer source explains to me that it is the jail, not Lindsay, that decides what time and date she will be released, adding that it will most likely be around midnight to minimize the press circus that will gather outside.
Once Lindsay is told she is free, it will take her around two hours to be processed. During this time she will be able to call her mother, Dina, to come and get her. After all the paperwork is signed, and her belongings returned, she would be free to leave. It is at this point her glam squad has its work cut out for them.
"There is a small, dirty public bathroom in the reception area that she will be allowed to use briefly before she leaves," an insider very familiar with Century Regional Correctional Facility tells me. "She will not be allowed to plug in a hairdryer and get a blow out and she can forget about using a flattening iron. There will be no full-length mirror and only if the corrections officers decide to be nice will they close the area to the public. Remember, everyone who works at that jail hates the press. They don't want to be bothered with all this nonsense and want to rid themselves of Lindsay as quickly as possible."
When Paris Hilton left the same prison a few years ago, image experts choreographed her 30-second walk to her waiting SUV step by step, even down to when she cried out "mommy." Lindsay's exit will be no different and it has already been decided she will leave wearing her own 6126 by Lindsay Lohan brand of leggings.
"This is Lindsay Lohan's chance to hit the restart button. To tell the public she has learned her lesson and wants to start over fresh," public relations expert Ronn Torossian, CEO of 5WPR, tells me. "No crazy messages on her nails, looking calm and collected. She can't look like she's on a fashion catwalk; rather she should walk quickly with her head slightly bowed. She had her roots touched up before she went into prison and has been gone for such a short period of time, she doesn't have to worry about that. Expect little makeup and simple hair pulled back into a ponytail."
And don't forget Lindsay, you are a great actress -- this could be the most important 30 seconds of acting of your career.
Update: The million-dollar post-jail interview I told you about on July 8 hasn't been locked in yet. Stay tuned!
Great Actress??? HARDLY. A spoiled, trasy, self-centered getting old freak is more like it. Should have served the full term and then probation for a year at least. This stint won't change her and she will be right back within month.
A great actress? Are you on crack? She's a spoiled overdomineering, ungrateful little snot! She appreciates nothing that people have done for her. She deserves the 90 days in jail. She'll end up a hotel room dead some day from an overdose because she thinks she's above everyone else. Maybe that'll give her mom a wake up call as she has an excuse for everything lindsay's done.
Lindsay's obviously a mess, but ODing in some hotel room is definitely not something I would want to wish on someone. People change all the time; I certainly hope for the best for her sake.
so right, she will probably end up dead in a hotel. sad but true. that's what happens to these celebs. they get strung out on drugs, then the press says it's prescription drugs to cover it up. so sad but true.
If she wants to hit the reset button then she needs to get over herself. Forget the stylest and fancy clothes and get the heck out of there with out causing a scene. She hasn't changed one bit not that a person could change in that short of time. She should have done her full 90 days then gone straight to rehab and be locked up so we don't have to look at her anymore.
YOU CARE !!! you took the time to read the story and to write a message. and the same goes for every other person who wrote something. we all care enough to pay attention to her. good thoughts or bad.
If the charges were against someone who is not a celebrity - - - they would serve the prescribed sentence! Who does she think she is that she deserves "special" treatment? What many people seem to forget is that she is a PERSON first, last and always and is NOT above the law. This sends the wrong message simply because she is a celebrity. Force her to serve the full time just like any other person!
I don't think anyone serves the full sentence--there is overcrowding in the jail (and I think this is true of many jails and prisons across the country) and so non-violent offenders are generally released early. I believe that I read an article that stated when she went in than ten percent or so was about the norm for this facility. Also, if you read this article, it clearly is designed to piss people off about not only the short stay but to imply that Lindsay is planning some sort of extravagant makeover--but then says she will likely wear leggings and a pony tail. I agree that she has messed herself up pretty good--but she had a lot of help along the way, with a family like hers, grubbing for every bit of her limelight they can. What a shame a young girl with so much potential has been turned into a sad, sick, addictive personality--I hope she is able to turn that around.
Sorry, I think this whole episode was planned by Lohan, her Mom and her publicists. She is just playing games, still. No lessons learned, no repentance. Personally, I believe she thinks she has enough money to sustain her the rest of her life and doesn't care about anybody else nor will she ever. I think she is incappable of loving anyone. Maybe she has been "in like" a couple times but never "in love" with anyone but herself and her precious "image".
Anyone who has this kind of attitude is heading down a dangerous road. LL has treated this whole jail thing as a joke, a game. Somewhere down the line this little lady will indeed get a serious wake-up call on life. And it will be bad.
Can you blame her? The media have been all over her for so long that she don't want to greet them at the jailhouse door looking scaggy. What's wrong with that?.
Once again, news coverage being given to a spoiled 20-something yr old., self indulgent brat. Here are a few 20 year-olds worth knowing about: Justin Allen 23, Brett Linley 29, Matt Weikert 29, Justus Bartett 27, Dave Santos 21, Chase Stanley 21, Jesse Reed 26, Matthew King 23, Christopher Goeke 23, & Sheldon Tate 27. ...These 20-somethings gave their lives for you this week. Lindsey Lohan who??!! Pathetic!

This isn't a fashion show dear. What part of this do you not get?
Could it be that jail is NOT something to wear a badge of honor for? Quite frankly, you can't polish a turd.

Good one...too bad she's sees nothing but herself.
Let me add Peter Fusscuto, 24 U.S. Army, West Chester, PA. God bless all of service people in harm's way so she can have the life she leads.
GREAT POST
