'Bachelorette' Finale Details From Ali Fedotowsky's Potential Proposal to Her Dress

'The Bachelorette' star Ali Fedotowsky should expect to receive a Neil Lane engagement ring proposal from one of her two final suitors on the show's Aug. 2 season finale, a source tells our partner StyleList.
Beth Cooney Fitzpatrick reports that Fedotowsky was outfitted for her Bora Bora proposal scenes in a shimmering champagne-colored, silk-chiffon customized Alberto Makali gown, selected for her by the show's resident stylist, Cary Fetman.
The gown, which originally had straps, was altered to suit the reality star's desire for a strapless look that was "soft and flowing," according to sources familiar with her choice.
Some of the original version's crystal beading was removed from along the bustline for a more subtle effect.
"She wanted to look glamorous but also be relaxed and comfortable," one source revealed to StyleList.
After considering several options, Fedotowsky chose the Makali gown because it suited her vision of how she wanted to look for a possible proposal, the source adds. "It really was her dream dress and she had no regrets." (About the dress, anyway!) All eyes will be on whether Fedotowsky can break the
incredibly shaky streak of successful 'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette' romances.
Will the ring be presented to 'The Bachelorette' by her most valuable player -- the refined baseball-ace turned salesman Roberto Martinez? He is, after all, the man who had her at "hello."
Or will Fedotowsky surprise viewers by choosing rugged and witty landscaper Chris Lambton as her final rose recipient?
No word yet on whether both Martinez and Lambton met with Lane to choose engagement rings for Fedotowsky or if only one of the final two contemplated a proposal.
The finale comes as a variety of intriguing rumors circulate about Fedotowsky's choices. Normally spot-on 'Bachelorette' blogger Reality Steve has been reporting for weeks that Fedotowsky ends the season single, while Us Weekly has done two cover stories that suggest she's engaged to Martinez and planning a 2011 wedding. And now tabloids have begun hinting that she's hooked up with pro football player Matt Leinart. (Our source shot that rumor down with an emphatic "No!")
StyleList has learned that ABC closed the set for the recent filming of its post-production 'After the Final Rose' special, where Fedotowsky met with Martinez, Lambton and another finalist, Frank Neuschaefer, to discuss the season's outcome.

This show is so stupid, rarely do these couples work out, only 1 so far. Jason and Molly haven't been married long enough to make it 2 couples. Is there something wrong with these people that they can't find love without going on TV? Must be.

You must be a newby to this show. Tristan &
Ryan have been married long enough to have two kids.
connie- that's what she's saying. tristan and ryan are the only couple that's worked. jason and molly are a posibility, but it's too soon to tell. (though, i think they'll make it. he's got a kid and has been through marriage before- so, he isn't making willy nilly decisions.) the show is basically a joke, though i've watched many seasons of it. people go on it for fun and to be famous. very few are looking for love, and those that are often are crazy and get booted.
Kim K. was so beautiful. But, now with all the plastic surgery, she looks...well....plastic! Why mess with a good thing??!! Girls and women are obsessed with being "perfect" but in reality, these procedures usually leave them looking years older!!

She'll pick the landscaper Chris, who is attached to his mother's memory. Roberto is too educated and sophisticated for her, which is why she should pick him. On the other hand, she who can't ennunciate and speaks behind her teeth, will probably decide against both. She now has had her 15 minutes of fame and most likely wants to extend them into a career on TV.

I believe Reality Steve who gets it right every time. She will not accept anyone's proposal. I don't think she was really looking for love just fame.
