Lindsay Lohan Released From Jail, Heads to Rehab

Lindsay Lohan is a free woman -- sort of.

The actress was released from jail after serving 13 full days of her 90-day sentence for violating her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI. Lohan was freed early due to good behavior and overcrowding at the jail.

After leaving the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, the 'Mean Girls' star reported to rehab to fulfill the second requirement of her sentence -- that she spend 90 days in a full-time rehabilitation facility.

"She was released at 1:35AM. She has been sent directly to her next destination, which is a treatment center. And she will now be under the supervision of the LA County probation department. This concludes her custody," Los Angeles Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said, according to PEOPLE.

Lohan was originally set to enter Morningside Recovery, but over the weekend, Judge Marsha Revel changed her mind, opting to allow Lohan to seek treatment at UCLA Medical Center, TMZ reports.

"There was concern that [Morningside Recovery] was not a secure enough facility," the district attorney's office told PEOPLE.

Lohan will spend 90 days in rehab. After that, she will be on probation until August 2011.

Her legal woes began in June 2007, when she was taken into custody for suspicion of drunk driving and cocaine possession. Just a month earlier, she was arrested on another DUI charge.

Following her first DUI, Lohan spent 84 minutes in jail after pleading guilty to two misdemeanor counts of being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and one count of reckless driving.

Out after 13 days, no surprise. Directly to rehab, do not go to mommys for a drink, do not give mommy 200 dollars. Getting send to a more secure rehab for obvious reasons. Have a nice summer Lindsay. Loser

I agree with you, she is a loser, and I don't know why the press keeps covering her, look at her, lock her up and throw away the key, I can't stand this girl and will never watch and movie she is in.

BTDT What does finding religion have to do with anything.I think the worst thing that could happen to her is to get all caught up some religious group that would take control of her money because thats what religion is all about MONEY if you believe anything else your mistaken.

Poor little Lindsay. Twelve Days and one hour and thirty five minutes in that nasty old jail and the off to hard core rehab, what is a girl to do? How about hire a driver next time you silly twit and party in the back of a limo instead of taking the wheel?

Hoping that she will spend the full 90 days in Rehab. UCLA Medical Center is a much safer place to wean her off of her drug stash, instead of some cushy place, which she might have preferred. Or, at least, co-dependent Dina would have. Wishing Lindsay well, much too young to waste her life away.

so far linzy n hilton got away with so much. however, what about the black artist? they still have to make up their days regardless of what their counts are..... linzy wont make it to farin life if she still thinks she can do whatshe wants n play a full to everyone.... in my opinion ill give her mayb a month before she does it again.... 90 days in r4ehabe is not enough. she is never going to learn untill she has really done the 90 days in jail n at least 2yrs in rehab.....

The truth is that because of an overcrowded prison system everybody is left out early, unfortunately. No preferential treatmen here. Not counting the morons and leeches, that surround her, I do not think she has any real friends around her.

Why do you say only in LA, and why does it bother you so much what happens to Lindsey Lohan? Is it really going to change your life one way or the other what happens to her. She is sick and needs help she may get better she may not, but it is really not going to make our life any better. You really should worry about something that is important.

Of course only 14% of her sentence. #1. we are overcrowded due to all the illegal immigrants in our jail systems. I believe a percent of 30% of all hispanics in our jails are illegal. We ship all those back to Mexico as our laws state and the people in the USA who do crimes will do their time.
#2. There is no such thing as good behavior in jail. Give me a break. You are sentenced to jail for bad bad behavior, which means that in jail you will have good behavior because you HAVE SUPERVISION AND BIG GUARDS WITH BIG GUNS.!! DOH, whoever started this out for good behavior crap outta be shot, and name it what it really is, she is a star and she is the first to get out the second we are one person over our quota.
#3. She is Lindsay Lohan, and if the judge knew she would only serve 14% of her sentence then I would have given her a year!!

Exactly RJ, she literally kidnapped 3 men, stole a vehicle to do her OJ Simpson run while on drugs, alcohol and carrying drugs.(hello where were those charges, someone FORGET that crucial part? **cough*** kidnap, stolen car?)
She could have killed, injured many people, and crashed into many cars. This girl has lived in bars since she was what? 16? Also illegal and no one did a damn thing about it, not her parents or the police, or the club owners. Why? Because she is Lindsay Lohan.

She should have gotten more then 90 days in the first place for her slew of crimes, not gotten out any sooner, and got put in a rehab a poor person would have to go to. Because 90% of us couldnt not afford and our insurances would not pay for any of these cush rehabs.
